You guys happy with our current complement of receivers (including TE's and pass-catching RB's) or would you like to see the Dolphins change it up? And do you think any changes are necessary to best complement Tua? There are some pundits talking about how Fitz throw more 50/50 balls because Gesicki and Parker excel at beating defenders in the air. Some hope Tua adjusts and adds that to his game, others think that Tua 'has a different game' and the WR corp needs to move in a different direction. So - current crop of receivers - what do you think? And anyone you in this years draft you'd like to see the Dolphins acquire?
I've noticed that teams are getting really physical with Parker. He doesn't like that and it throws off his game IMO.
I've already addressed this in the 2021 Draft Thread... https://www.thephins.com/threads/2021-first-round-draft-picks.95507/#post-3321825
Which is nice. But feel free just to list the one or two names you would like to see the Dolphins pick - because most people won't remember your individual selections from a whole thread covering multiple positions.
I think we are one WR away from having a potentially elite group if everyone is healthy and on board. My issue with adding a WR is who to replace. I'm not losing Parker, I'd prefer to keep Williams, Grant sticks, Malcolm Perry looks like a talent, Bowden Jr looks like he might stick, I'd even like to keep Wilson if possible. If I'm eliminating someone I guess maybe its Wilson.
I would love to get JaMarr Chase. Having two stud WR's in Chase and Parker, along with Gesecki would make a dangerous receiving group all in itself. Additionally, if we can get so fortunate and land RB Travis Etienne and get a strong running game going as well, we're going to be a dangerous offense.
