    https://bengalswire.usatoday.com/2020/11/24/bengals-confident-joe-burrow-be-back-100-percent/

"Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor met with reporters Monday and spoke about Joe Burrow’s injury and the return timetable.

While Taylor said he doesn’t know when Burrow will have surgery, the team expects him to be ready for the 2021 season — not necessarily the start of it, but that he’ll take the field at some point."

"Tuesday morning, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo followed that up by confirming Burrow has an ACL and MCL tear, plus some expected cartilage damage — but that the team feels encouraged by what they saw and is quite confident given the circumstances:

“I am told that actually they were encouraged by what they saw with the imaging on Monday. They know it’s going to be a long, thorough rehab process…We’ll see if Burrow’s ready for Week 1, but I do know that there is a lot of confidence that he’s going to come back fully from this one, maybe not 100 percent by the start of next season, but perhaps on the field for the start of next season.”"

Burrow's injury happened just a couple of weeks earlier in the year than Tannehill's did in 2016. We saw what happened with RT17 in 2017, so there really is no guarantee he'll be ready to go in September.

RT is more relevant in my opinion because Tua had an entirely different injury. Not sure how directly RT compares either in terms of damage but Tua was definitely a bit different.

That said I dont know if he will or wont be ready. The Bengals sound like they will put him on the field if he is even 80% ready which sounds like another injury waiting to happen once hes rushed back.

If I'm the Bengals I'm doing everything possible to build a dominant offensive line this offseason. I dont care if I need to overpay for a couple pieces, the fact that your Franchise QB is being demolished weekly calls for immediate and serious reflection and action.

Fed Ex Field appears to be a bit of a hoodoo ground for QB's -Kyle Allen's season was brought to a premature end a couple of weeks ago, which was the 2 year anniversary of Alex Smith's horrific injury and now Burrow.
