The reality is our offense is abysmal and our defense/special teams have been making plays that gave us big, early leads. we don’t run the ball well, not protecting the QB well today and Tua looks unimpressive so far. Look no further than Chi to find a good defense and how a bad offense can piss games down their leg.
come on Gailey... get some nice easy throws here to get Tua some rhythm. he's never been able to establish himself today.
It's so evident watching this team on offense that we need a WR, actually two. Dynamic playmakers. The group we have now struggle to get any separation whatsoever.
Jackson also did the ultimate dumb thing by throwing your hands up. You do that it's getting called every damn time. No idea why some guys think that's a good idea.
They need a tight end. There needs to be a big, reliable mismatch target over the middle, a George Kittle/Travis Kelce type. That's the security blanket for any young QB. Gesicki ain't it.
Why would you run out of bounds and lose yards vs tossing it away out of bounds. There is no grounding outside the pocket and you need to dump it two yards to get it beyond the line. Not a big deal but come on.
False start now on 3rd and 16. yeah this ones over We shouldn't have even shown up today. brutal performance.
There is a MAJOR, MAJOR problem with the offense when there are six sacks in a little more than 3 quarters in a game.
I wasn’t able to watch the game. Are these sacks all on our OL, Tua or both? Youre not gonna win many games giving up 6 sacks.
Penalties, Tua holding the ball forever; what a pathetic showing by the offense. The Defense has been average today which would be okay if the offense was putting up some points. Denver is dominating with only 20 points on the scoreboard.
I don't think he's regressed that much because we've seen errors from him every game. We have seen a little less accuracy. I think mostly it's the poor OL play and good secondary coverage by Denver.
Wow, Denver going ultra-conservative, but why not? They are convinced Miami won't move the ball on offense.
That was a big error there by Denver in my opinion. They should've kept the pedal to the metal to some extent. A three-and-out breathes some life back into the Dolphins. Could've put the nail in the coffin there with just a couple first downs.
Well, do or die time right here. Time to see what Tua is made out of. Assuming our OL can give him more than a couple seconds
Say what you want about the D, but if you allow less than 24 in the modern NFL you should win. Let's see if they do hold them under that.
That's a big assumption today! Denver have shown they've got the chops when it comes to pressure. Not to be a broken record but this is precisely where some OC creativity would come in handy. Find a way to scheme a few gains and build momentum but I've seen little to make me think Gailey has it in him.
Tua to the bench. Looks like his foot got rolled up on there on the last sack. I think the benching was deserved even without the potential injury.
10 yards per pass on Fitzpatrick's first four passes when the whole world knows he has to pass is quite the indictment of Tua here today.
