Well I mean early on they looked dead and now they are starting to move the ball. I'm not saying they are dominating.
We are down the middle of our defense and more importantly there is less rotational depth. It's not surprising they would show some holes as the game wore on.
That's the kind of drive that can change the game, because if the offense doesn't possess the ball for a while here, the defense comes back out and is gassed and likely gets trampled on some more.
We knew the Chargers could put up points. This was always going to require a balanced game and probably close, but our D making the difference. Tua and co need to show up and score. The D aren't a safety blanket this game.
One of the youngest teams but they've proven themselves disciplined so they need to get back into form.
His arm strength is weird. He zips it over the middle as well as anyone but his outside throws absolutely do float a bit on comebacks and outs.
Gailey is leaving too many plays on the field. We're not up by 14 so we can't be running into walls. This game is going to come down to one or two key passes.
There's something wrong when Parker has 7 targets and only 2 catches. There has to be a go-to receiver.
Leaves them with too much momentum. They know another drive like the last one and they're in the lead.
Seems like Herbert throws to his outlet nearly every time he feels pressure. Run a blitz and throw a spy on the RB! He's not going to step up in the pocket and throw deep. Edit: of course that spy also needs to tackle..
