Opening Odds: Rams -3.5 | O/U 44.5 (https://www.oddsshark.com/nfl/los-angeles-miami-betting-2020-11-01-1254665) Oddshark Preview: LA "After recording the worst passer rating of his career last season at 86.5 and throwing only 22 touchdown passes to 16 interceptions, Goff has been considerably better in 2020 with 12 touchdowns, four interceptions and a career-high 102.4 passer rating. The Rams are also playing excellent defense. Los Angeles ranks sixth in the NFL in total yards allowed at 312.9 per game and second in scoring defense, allowing 17.7 points per game. With Goff making better decisions and the defense playing up to its potential, Los Angeles is in contention for the top spot in the NFC West with a 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS record." Overall "Miami and Los Angeles own two of the top three scoring defenses in the NFL. Throw a rookie quarterback into the mix and you’ve got what should be a pretty low-scoring game on your hands."
I personally think we can win this one, but it's going to be an ugly game if we do. Like 13-10 or something like that. I could see Tuas line looking like 14-24, 189 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 14 yards rushing, 1 TD. I could see a scenario where we do win this game, and Tua simply manages things and plays it safe. This will be a defensive battle, book it.
Thhey got a strong running game with Henderson, and a very tricky receiver in Woods who has burned us before as a Bill.. if we dont keep those two in check we are in for a long Sunday.. Kupp and Reynolds have had good games too.. its not going to be easy to contain them.. One decent advantage we have is that theyre traveling East on a short week.
https://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2020&wk=8 SWEET!!! Games going to televised in Seattle area so I get to watch on my big screen this week instead of the computer. And Dark Knights letter must have worked cuz all of FL gets it too.
Off topic, Tua’s brother just had 3 passing touchdowns, 2 rushing touchdowns to lead Maryland in a win as a 20 point underdog against Minnesota..
As I've said, I'm not overly confident in Tua and I've made that clear but I hope people dont react too strongly in either direction based on one game. Let's see at LEAST 4 games before we even start to pretend we know what we might have.
Wish that was the case. Tomorrow’s game is on Fox, not CBS and the Yucks are playing Monday night, so they’re pretty much bound the show another Florida team vs an NFC team. That and since it’s Tua’s first start it’s going to be a ratings hike. At least the Fox affiliate in Orlando decided not to screw Florida fans. I knew there was a reason I liked Fox.
Fox has better sound production between the networks, too. You really get the crowd on their broadcasts which I always enjoyed. All the other instances feel a little neutered.
Perry being active today is very interesting. Expect a few gadget plays to keep the Rams off balance.
The Tua era begins. I wonder how long it will take today for someone to declare him a bust so we can have years of debates about it around here.
I'm sure there's a few people with it all typed up and their finger hovering over the send button just waiting for any mistake.
