The Dolphins will now host the New York Jets next Sunday during Week 6 of the NFL season."
ESPN said out bye was next week? https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30093166/nfl-adjusts-schedule-8-teams-moving-forward
"Changes in bye weeks show Denver's switches to this week from Week 8; New England's from next week to this week; the Chargers' from Week 10 to next week; the Dolphins' from Week 10 to next week; Jacksonville's from Week 7 to Week 8; and the Jets' from Week 11 to Week 10."
Hmm, the Jests back to back was a good potential spot to insert Tua. Seems like Flores will be reluctant to start him over Fitz after the game he just had though, so it may yet be some time before we see the rook in action.
@Rick 1966 Don't know what to tell you. The decision was made some time during the game I think. Flores has already confirmed it, as per above quote.
Looking at the revised schedule, coming off the bye we play LA, Arizona and the other LA. If Fitz struggles in that stretch, I can see Tua coming for Denver and/or the Jests. But if Fitz plays well, then yeah I don't see him coming out. Personally, I think we should get Tua going this year regardless of how Fitz plays, but I am not sure Grier and Flores feel the same.
I heard that first as well, but it seems to have been changed or misreported initially. Jests week 6, bye week 7.
An odd season gets odder. Every delayed game has a ripple effect across the league. I really want to see us rip the Jests a new one next week if only from a confidence-building standpoint.
