Feeling good the Heat will take this series. Only thing keeping the Bucks in the game was.....the refs. They were the star of game 2. :/

Rough finish, but glad the Heat pulled it out.

Not entirely. The refs were calling a bit too much but it was pretty even, I think. The true tipping point for me was sloppy play from the Bucks, especially when they lost the lead right after regaining it. I'd argue the Bucks have more talent but the Heat are more disciplined, more certain of the identity, and play better as a team. The Bucks could have won this but failed to sloppy play threw the game away. Giannis is still to inexperienced to lead his team to a championship, whereas the Heat are proving their experience and worth by playing the best team basketball of the playoffs so far.

Time to step on their throats in Game 3 and apply pressure.. force them in a situation in which they gotta try to win 4 straight to go to the ECF.

Might sound dumb but I almost feel like this game is worth two games.

If we lose they are right back in it with confidence to potentially take game four.

Win it and the door is closed as long as we keep on the gas.

Great win! I haven't seen a team this deep. Almost all could start on a different team. About any line up combination spoelstra puts on will work well. They match up well against any team in the NBA right now.

I felt we took the Bucks best punch at the half and saw this adjustment coming in the 4th. Its over.. they may take game 4 but theyre not winning 4 straight

I’ve been watching the heat since I could barely dribble a ball in the mid 90s. This is my favorite heat squad of all time. There’s something about the way they play together, the lack of respect and expectations, the evolution of Bam as well as Jimmy just dad dicking everyone in his path. It just seems more wholesome than the whole big 3 era.

oh yeah, and we’re set up with cap space to add a max player. Someone, please, find a way to keep Pat Riley alive for at least 20 more years.

    Super impressed by the Heat.

I’m now pulling for the Heat and whoever plays the Lakers.

    Great game!

Herro so calm and clutch under pressure!

Bucks - it might be heretical but I prefer the way they play without Giannis - and I like Giannis. It looks to me that unless it's a fast break they need to get the ball out of Giannis' hands and get him to play off the ball. They could almost use him as a young Shaq and dominate the paint. Either way, really nice basketball from them at the end.

The Heat have this series, and congratulations to them for earning it.

This is the stuff playoff basketball is made of. Both teams learning valuable lessons here. Let's see if the Bucks can win a second one or the Heat can turn it up and finish it off!

Agreed, it would be tragic for them to lose a series having been up 3-0 (what with them being the first team to ever suffer that defeat) hut it's not going to happen. Giannis' ankle isn't about to get better miraculously and the rest of the Bucks, as much as I like them, can't keep it up for three more games.

The Heat rested on their laurels a bit. That won't keep happening.

I hate to ***** about the refs too much, especially since Miami played like crap in the 4th and overtime. They deserved to lose imo. We had a foul to give at the end of the 4th and Dragic decides to foul Donte under the rim and give them FTs.

But, it’s hilarious how the refs have to review a play for 10 minutes to see who knocked the ball out of bounds and award the bucks the ball while watching Bledsoe slap the **** out of Jimmys arm.

Our offense has been stagnant.. too much standing around not enough ball movement.. i see dragic not able to get involved

I actually saw too much ball movement at times. Too much hesitation. We were getting burned with shot clock violations and turnovers at the end of the clock because dudes didn’t want to step up and take the shot...especially Jimmy. Jae and Tyler on the other hand just let it go, I love it.

Jae has been just a great pickup. Amazing what he has been able to do within the little time he has spent on the team.

I keep having all these awful feelings that Bam and Herro will be gone in a year.

I know it's a small price to pay for a top 3 player but damn it's gonna hurt when it happens.

Dont think so, and i have doubts a top 3 player will be available. I think Miami fans need to get over the 2010 offseason, that isnt going to happen again. We are in an era or basketball where most playoff teams are 8-10 man deep.

IMO Giannis will sign that supermax and stay with the Bucks. AD will re-sign with the Lakers.

im not sure what other top 3 player you think will be made available.

Im not trading Bam, hes a top 5 big man. Jokic, AD and Giannis are ranked better. Im not sure theres anyone else after them.

Im sure there is still interest for Beal, but we arent going to sell the farm for him. Our depth is more valuable than just getting Beal here.

I think the front office sees the potential, sees that the ceiling has not been reached yet, and will commit long term to their young guys.

i also think Goran gets a deal done with us. I hope we can get a deal done with Jae as well.

I think the Heat will add Victor Oladipo. Giannis is unfortunately a pipe dream, but this could be an even better team with Oladipo starting in place of Nunn and a re-signed Dragic coming off the bench. Olynyk will be gone and Iguodola will retire, imo.

Tyler Herro though... what a treasure. He's the Heat's Human Torch.

Inside look at pre-game warm up routine for Tyler:

Heat fans: would you trade Bam and Herro straight up for Giannis?

I know the salaries don’t match up and you might get him for free in FA after next season. Blah blah blah. Forget the details. Would you do it?

No. Bam is the 4th best big man in the league, and no Im not putting Embiid in front of him, i dont trust Embiid to stay healthy and he will soon begin to become a shell of himself. I got Giannis, AD and Jokic in front of Bam, thats it.

Herro may very well be the next Dev Booker/Klay Thompson. Thats way too much to give up for Giannis.

And then youre asking us to give up two guys that make up for a big part of our team chemistry, which is priceless.

Im passing on that. I dont think Riley nor Spo will make such a deal either. Either Giannis signs outright, or we are looking at other pieces that can fit and make us a deeper team.

right now we have to figure out how to bring back Goran and Jae.. and Bam Adebayo is going to seek a max contract extension this offseason and he will get it

    SO Cal
Why is Doc Rivers held up as this great Coach. He hasn't done chit with his teams in 20 years and hasn't gotten them even to the finals in what 10 years? But he talks a good game to the media. So why all the love for him?

I started saying the same things that after Game 5. Trust me we wouldnt beat the Pacers if we had Doc Rivers in place of Spo.. Doc Rivers is overrated. Hes a great character guy that the media loves. But when we are talking straight up coaching and development, hes not in my top 15

If I was starting a team and you offered me Giannis or Bam and Herro, I'd choose Giannis.

It’s so damn refreshing to watch this homegrown team. Absolutely love that the chronic tanking 76ers are sitting at home and in disarray.

Spo is the Belichik of the NBA.
