can someone explain to me how this works....

How does a guy like RM, Chad Johnson etc get open for deep passes but the 2nd fastest apparently in the game Ted Ginn can't? is it b/c we aren't running routes like that? dont give the Qb time to get the WR to run down (which is what I BELIEVE THE MOST) or what.

Even with Chambers it was an issue, if he got open no one passed it to him. the best Qb we have had is honestly Gussy boy believ it or not. he had soemthin others didnt balls and the feeling he was GREAT adn took the chance either way. I miss that to be honest.

I have yet to see Lemon or Beck even look Ginn's way down the field.

Cam Cameron is a word that I refuse say because I don't want to disrespect Finheaven, but it is a nasty term for a woman's private parts. You have quite possibly the fastest player in open field in the entire NFL, and he gets zero looks down the field. It's disgusting. Hell, Ginn isn't even on the field on every passing down -- ridiculous. We take more shots with Derek Hagan & Marty Booker than Ted Ginn. Every time Ginn runs a deep route, he has space. Our QB's are definitely being signaled against throwing the ball down the field. I don't believe it's just their choice to CHECK DOWN ON EVERY PASSING PLAY.

If Lorenzo Booker was a factor from week 1, he'd be leading the NFL in receptions, IMO. Smh!

part of it was cincy getting a lot of pressure on Lewinski and Shelton, part is we don't run many deep routes, and part is we look to the checkdown far too often

More like the fact that we have little talent to work with right now.

When Ginn does go deep, they put a corner and safety on him though...

if you watch all teh games ull notice they only threw deep to ginn when it was called off a PA where u knew IT WAS goin to be a deep pass cuz u'd see lemon roll off the PA and to be honest, we've completed 1, over threw 1 by a foot vs the first NE game, and over threw the last one but another yard to the right corner. all the OVerthrows he had been the CB AND S so i stiill dont undestand why they didnt. I just read an article (not sure if i ended up posting it i believe so under the Ginn one) that Roboskie states we HAVE called the plays a lot we jsut never did cuz of coverages adn broken pass protection, may that be true but still im sure u could have pulled more then 3 in 16 games out of ur arse. C'mon tired of that BS excuse.

It's hard to go deep when your offensive line is giving you .2 seconds to get rid of the ball ... Doesn't help when you have a QB that doesn't make quick decisions and takes a little bit of time to read the play.
