Does anyone else think they might be trying to build from the inside out much? It's what I really hoped was going to happen. Me happy

Barry Jackson @flasportsbuzz And there's more: Division II McKendree University announces Dolphins have signed WR Matt Cole, who had 43 catches, 939 yards and 12 TDs last season and excelled as returner. That's a 91st Fins player, but draft picks aren't signed. Dolphins must be at 90 when everyone signed. 8:56 PM · Apr 25, 2020
What I like is all the added competition for our guys who weren't getting it done last year. Hopefully, it will raise the bar for everyone involved, and our team should be better for it.
Kirk Merritt the wide receiver from Arkansas State maybe the most freakish player we have seen this year. This video of him hitting a 49 inch vertical and an 11’3 Broad Jump while squatting 675 pounds is insane. This is on a you tube video. Damn.
I had high hopes for Grant. He works his butt off, so it will be interesting to see if he is able to keep his job. If not, then the guy who beat him out should bring something more to the table.
I think Grant may be my favorite player on the team. I know he's been hurt two years in a row but man, the little fella can move! Just a great all-around story and a lot of fun to watch him develop. If he is cut loose I have a good feeling he will land somewhere else...he's led the league in separation & time to separation a few years in a row. With that said, if Kirk Merritt has a solid camp he will take Grant or Wilson's roster spot. He's ultra-strong in that compact frame...can't help but wonder about steroids. He can really move though and might be another Preston Williams type find if he gets his act together.
Oops, I should have said, I HAVE high hopes for Grant. He's a great guy. As with you, I am pulling for him and hope he can turn all his hard work into production so he can stay on the team.
