Interesting pick. Talented player. I like the player quite a bit, but the position is kind of odd.

We badly need pass rushers. I hope they know what they're doing.

Ummmmm... not sure here. So many other holes and soo much invested in corners already. I trust Flores but this caught me off guard for sure

That's it. If there was ever any doubt, the dolphins are going to turn into the browns, there should no longer be any doubt.

Converted WR, nobody had him mocked ik the 1st, extremely raw, we dont have a big need at CB, and there were many other better players available.

Both top safeties we’re still there - would’ve made for a stellar backfield

Head scratcher. This was the hardest pick to mess up based on talent available and it's the one we managed to mess up worst of all.

Trust my ***, bunch of idiots running this organization. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Dolphins will be the new browns, picking in the top 10 every year and still ****ting the bed.

The Flores defense demands an abundance of talented defensive backs, and Igbinoghene is a high-character, high-ceiling, high-floor, scheme fit DB.

And I don't see Howard going anywhere. This is the best secondary in football: Jones and Howard on the boundary, Igbinoghene in the slot. Depth on the boundary in Needham and Tankersley, depth in the slot in McCain and Wiltz. Talent on the back-end with Rowe. Our defense is going to be legitimate.

Granted now everyone we wanted are still on the board and we pick again in what 7 picks...but man if we could have got swift and Espenesa, or McKinney and dobbins or some combo of that would habe been great. Corner though?

Regardless of wether it is a need, and regardless of wether he is any good, it is a massive reach.

Overall 1st round grade for the fins: D+

I don't get picking a CB, but very solid draft so far by Miami. In terms of "most improved" thru round 1, we're clearly winning. Hopefully we start R2 by grabbing a RB!

They may be relying more on coverage than rushing. Jones, Howard and this kid ... that's a really good trio.

No safeties or RBs have been taken (pending the KC pick). The late run on CBs and WR's was good for us.

I think overall it's good to remember that our rebuild isn't a single year thing. We aren't going to fill every need we have with a high level guy or highly paid FA. We are seeing Grier and Flores attacking the positions they feel is important.

    My night one grade

Tua: C+: I dont like his potential but not taking a QB would be worse here. If its who they like I'll give it a shot.

Jackson: B-: Like the player, not the spot. Still, can't complain too hard.

Corner Guy: D-: Could probably have had him at #56. Enough said.

And the Miami Dolphins could make a pick so great that Jesus himself came down from the heavens, and you'd criticize the pick because Moses and Elijah wasn't present.

Really digging this draft. You are all chasing names and Flores is getting scheme fit talent. Let’s let Flores do his thing remember the patriots picking unknown talented players well this is how Miami does it now also. High character smart players who can play multiple positions.

I hope we grab a stud *** RB in the second

I'm not even sure what you mean.

Tua wasnt scheme fit talent he was just a consensus top QB prospect by many.

Jackson isnt a scheme fit hes just a talented prospect.

The corner was a reach, regardless of how you want to justify it.
