I have now noticed in the last 2 or more press conferences that Coach Sparano has been wearing a green jacket with black and silver stripes. I know there has been rumors that we may be changing colors, and I was wondering if this could be a small clue of the colors we could be changing to? This is an opinion, and not a fact but I can't recall that many Coaches of NFL teams wearing anything but the team colors.
Well, changing colors require notification to the NFL prior to the season. Normally thats done during the March/May meetings. So since Wayne hasn't done that, don't expect anything just yet. But if there is, I can't see where green would fit in to the Dolphins theme. That being said....its too hot to wear a jacket. But maybe he has a thing for pockets.
Nor the black and silver colors as well. Maybe were trading our colors to Philadelphia for their colors and a 7th round pick? Season hasn't even started yet and here come the uniform debates already.
I just received the Miami Dolphins NFL Team jacket from SI (signed up - great deal). Anyway, I swear its a Cowboy Jacket with just the Dolphins Logo of course to pass it off as a Dolphins Team jacket. I laughed so hard thinking with all our COWBOY additions that SI just thought it easier to provide theirs. Hey HD, I remember you from that other fins site, because I recall asking if you were from Indiana due to your screen name. SO...welcome to a great alternative to the overcrowded, overdone and lesser Fins forums. Hope you stick around. As to the jacket, I just kind of figured he's trying to establish some sort of identity. Much the same as Belichick with his gray hoodies.
