Broncos sign RB Gordon. Does that mean RB Lindsay is in play?

I really can't see the Broncos trading Lindsay just because they did a two year deal with Gordon. They have a second year QB, and will want to run the ball as much as possible.

 

No, it means they aren't happy with Royce Freeman. Lindsay is going nowhere.

 

I think the staff is comfortable with Laird as the third running back. We also got Gaskin that needs reps.

 

Again, Miami signed a RB to a 2 year deal a few days ago.

 

To answer the question, NO, I don't think he's in play. I think Denver will implement two running backs between Lindsay and Gordon. Gordon doesn't seem to want to have lead back status anymore. I think he's playing more towards longevity at this point. I wanted him in free agency, but i'm happy with Howard and whoever we draft.

 

Lindsay is a play maker I'd love for that to to happen.
