Hes done that a few times in "dead" time. Someone needs to tell him we start playing Offense in 1st Qtr.
I can agree with that. Hopefully he can ditch that crutch and prove me wrong. I would love to have to come back by a dose of humility and admit that I was wrong to the few believers.
LT . . . none is worthy . . . when Jake Long . . . next years best prospect, is being considered a RT . . . I have a problem w/ selecting him #1 overall, and I will be upset if they do . . . especially when there are guys like Dorsey, Long and others who would be better served helping this team right away.
hahahahaha I never said you said ignore the DL. I'm just saying Jake Long isn't worthy of the #1 overall pick. Draft a LT in a later round or pick one up in FA but no way waste the #1 overall on Jake Long.
Anyone feel alittle better about Beck now? Yes he needs some work but the kid has a rocket arm and a very fast release.
Beck turned it around a bit and played ok, so I don't think anyone can really say he is not the man anymore. Gives us something to look forward to next season. One question though, will firing Cam hurt Becks chances of building on that performance?
Not sure. Still would've liked to see that accuracy everyone was praising but he hasn't had enough time to prove himself. Whatever happens happens. If we draft a Qb then so be it, if we stick to Beck he better not be a wasted pick. Thank you all you fin fans for making it an enjoyable season.
Minus the crappy fumble which in the end didnt mean much, you can see why Cam likes him. When he settles down and loses the happy feat he can fire bullets. Get some more talent around him and it might turn out well.
while cam is a dead man walking, i believe beck will get a fair shot to prove he can play...especially after todays efforts
He needs a LOT of work, not a little. But hey, here's to hope! I'm sure the next 8 months will be just great with the constant debating
I liked what Beck did today. He had the worst possible start. But he played ok after that. Unfortunately, it's still hard to judge him justly one way or the other from his limited time. An offseason to learn, camp, and preseason will give him time to get more comfortable. I hope he turns out for his.
