Vick had a 6 year "run" in Atlanta, and bounced around the league a few more. Depends on how healthy he stays. If the legs go tho...
This game reminds me of Miami vs NE in the OB in 1985.. Rain soaked loss when everyone had Miami. Just complete domination by the Patsies who two weeks later got creamed by Da Bears. I was 10 and cried after that loss.
It’s not, though. Suppose a QB throws four passes but they’re all 50+ yard TD passes. Makes no sense to call him a game manager. Or, less unrealistically, Tannehill is not throwing a lot of passes, but he’s making big plays. That’s the opposite of a game manager.
Maybe in your world that’s the measurement. But uh, that’s just not right. So don’t try and pass it off as fact.
people were laughing at patriots losing to titans..... Cough, Pats did better than the overhyped ravens and vick 2.0 LOL Enough said.
They're idiots then. I'd have taken him over everyone we've hired since JJ. Hope they do fire him. They can have a Gase or Philbin.
Well let me clarify that then. He's playing light years better than the did last week, despite that both games involved their passing game's taking a backseat to their run game in terms of usage, which is again what determines whether the QB is in the role of having to win the game or just manage it. The Titans have 24 rushes and 15 pass attempts. That's not to say Tannehill hasn't done a lot to win the game -- he certainly has; it's just that the play-calling isn't putting him in the role of having to win it. The play-calling is again emphasizing Henry.
Ravens have 12 pro bowlers and according to the media a QB that’s so unique and ahead of his time defenses shake in their boots game planning for him. Imagine being that overrated...
After Tannnehill got them a big lead. He didn’t start as a game manager. He threw two TD’s to give the Titans the luxury of not having to throw.
Smart play by Tannehill to get down in bounds to keep the clock moving. Should've been a flag on the hit to the helmet.
The thing is though, this has been Tennessee's MO all year long. Smash mouthed football, wear your opponent down and crush them into submission.
In the post of mine you quoted I was talking about Lamar Jackson as having had the fewest number of pass attempts in the league this year.
