Maybe the most probable win for Miami, on paper anyway. I think the refs and the NFL want to see Eli go out in his next to last home game as a winner; so watch for some late flags against the Phins.

As I mentioned though, a win by Miami helps push the Giants closer to the #1 pick, but that also depends on the Bengals winning TWO more games (Miami and the Browns, unless they pull off a minor miracle in beating the Pats) so keep your expectations in check.

As for the game, I'm not a fan of putting Parker back out there. Concussions stack easily and another one so soon would be a concern for his health long-term. I know he wants a 1,000 yd season, but I'd give him one more week to recover.

Like I said in the other thread...I'm okay losing thos one but I want to see this team give it their all. If that results in a win I also wont complain.

Also agreed on Parker. Hes proven enough this year, no need to risk anything even if hes 100% cleared.

Looks like the game plan is to depend on 'The Intern' this week.

Sanders must have used all his good kicks last week. Wide right.

This is the kind of game that gets the low end announcers assigned to it.

Miami is moving the ball and yet has NOTHING to show for it so far. I understand being aggressive, but lining up and getting even 1 yd is not a given with this OL. The ref calls have gone in favor of Miami so far too.

I'll get interested if the Bengals are within one score or have a lead late in the fourth.

    That said, 'Go Bengals!'

Fitzmagic with a laser to Parker for the TD. It really does feel that Miami is a MUCH better team right now than the Giants. I think we could end up with a 20-6 win.

I hate losing the draft position, but Tua should still be there around #7.

Then again, with crazy plays like that, maybe the Giants have a shot. Game tied up.

With a bad medical report? Yeah, he probably would be. Miami could trade down with a first rounder and roll the dice on him in the late 20's. You get him locked for 5 years and if he never plays they just call it a calculated risk that didn't work out.

I’m telling ya, when I watched the LSU v Alabama game, Tua didn’t impress me at all. That’s a BIG game in the SEC and if he couldn’t produce in that game, how is he going to produce week after week in the NFL when every game is that caliber?

I'm pretty iffy on Tua, and maybe all the reports of the Miami front office being in love with him are untrue. It will be easier for them to justify taking Tua in the top 10 the lower the pick is. I'd be okay using one of the lower first round picks.

Tanny is failing us, just when we expected good things from him, as the Titans are down by 14. Washington leading and the Bengals are in the game with the Pats, and hopefully the Bills beat the Steelers.

Yeah, we heard that here in Miami for years, along with blaming the OL and coaching. Which all might be true, but at the end of the day, Tanny needs help as he isn't good enough to carry a team.

Every QB needs some help, but some need everything to be just right to have success. Tanny is average to good, that can be enough on a good-great team, but don't ask him to carry an average team like a Lamar Jackson or Aaron Rodgers can.

You mean the same team that has a top tier LT & RT, and the same team that has a stud of a WR?

Look, Miami failed Tanny, that is pretty clear as you look at the failed OLs and bad coaching he got over the years here. That doesn't mean he is ever going to be a great-elite QB though. He is good enough to play in the NFL, and he'll make some nice money from some team that needs to upgrade at QB.

In other news, the Giants are starting to blow out the Phins. It will take a lot of Fitzmagic to get us back into this one.

That failed fourth down should put the nail in the coffin, unless the Giants fumble the ball away and the defense gets a score. I expect a heavy dose of Barkley to end this game, the only question being if he'll break a long run for a TD.

Here's something somewhat interesting: because Kenyan Drake was traded from Miami to Arizona when he was, he's lost every game his teams have played this season.

Tannehill didn't fail us. The last time I checked, he played quarterback, not defense. Tennessee's DEFENSE failed

Not only this but even if he didnt play his best game today, hes human. Hes been on a massive tear and it should take more than one game to change what hes done.

On topic though, today's game wasnt pretty. I said I was okay losing, I still wanted more fight than how it ended up. I was thinking more a moral victory like the Jets game, not a 2 score game.

Yes. Every QB needs help from good receivers. They actually have to run correct routes and catch the ball.

Well, if you guys want Tanny back, an offer of $30 million/yr should be enough to get him signed in 2020. We have the WRs now, right?

    :)

It shouldnt matter if the WR catches the ball. Its Tannehills fault, he obviously should have thrown it to someone else who would catch it, using his psychic ability to predict the outcome of the play.

That's also why Josh Rosen sucks. He lacks the clairvoyance to see into the future where his WRs drop TD passes.

    Sarcasm obviously.

Also I'm not implying Rosen is great, just that his stat line looks entirely different if not for some inexcusable drops.

Yes all teams drop passes but the good ones at least make the ones right in their bread basket.
