Why does every team need a black alternate uniform? Christ a team's colors could be pink and white and they'd figure out a way to have a black alternate uniform.
Solid drive, but it ends in a FG. All the running issues are not going away this year, but it should be vastly improved with a better OL and HB in 2020. There seems little chance this team won't break the record for fewest rushing yds.
No real pass rush, but being competitive. ....and they give up the TD pass on a scramble play. Jests manage to miss the extra point though.
Ford sighting! I forgot he had been activated. Parker may be injured, heading to locker room. Denver up 21 on Texans! Lock looking really good for them at QB. All the time he spent injured he clearly took advantage of to learn the offense.
Maybe TD, Thomas had the ball crossing the goal line, but was it a catch? Who knows in the NFL today? Jests TD.
Parker out for the rest of the game, maybe longer? Would have been nice to see him have a healthy season, but we still have him under contract for 2020 for cheap (given his play this year).
Laird has done a decent job today. A couple first down runs and is a pass catching option. Good player for depth going forward.
A slight lead with the 6th FG by Sanders. Not all that bad given the limited WR options today. Will Darnold fold here and fail to get some points? If they leave time on the clock, Fitzmagic will get us a win.
Texans are going to lose, down by 21 with less than 2 minutes left. Lock had a monster game. The Titans will have every chance to win that division. Too much to ask for the Cards to beat the Steelers? Refs looking to help the Jests out.
If you kick seven field goals and score no touchdowns, you kind of deserve to lose. But man, that sucked.
That was a legitimate PI from what I saw unless someone tipped it and I missed that. He grabbed the WR and turned him in the air. It was textbook PI.
Why? If he doesnt interfere it puts them into long FG range with the catch he would have probably made.. It was a huge play in the game. It's actually better for us it ended that way this time.
I don't have a huge quarrel with the call. It's just that I assumed we were going to lose when we failed to burn any clock and kicked off with a minute and a half left, then we got that sack, and wow, maybe we're going to win, then PI via an overturn on 4th and 16. Just a killer.
I was watching on my phone, but it looked to me that if he did turn him, it was as the ball got there. I've seen worse not get overturned. Not to mention, I thought Gesicki was interfered with in the end zone, no call. Fitz got a helmet to helmet hit late in the 4th, no call.
I think on TV it was pretty clear he was turning him well before the ball arrived personally. Other calls I wont debate. Though we did get a gift roughing the passer too.
Lol i prefer this forum over the wackadoos in finheaven.. are they still begging for donations over there?
I agree with the fact it was PI, it's the inconsistent enforcement of the rules by the refs that get to me. A loss does not hurt Miami as far as better drafting position is concerned and after watching Burrow play last night.... I'm really hoping the Giants end up with the #1 pick and we can work a trade with them. The higher our pick the easier the deal will be.
