That's incredible- after the league fully screwed us on scheduling a few years ago, Ross said we're done with the London games. Yet here we go again...
FWIW, the league absolutely wants to add a 17th game to the schedule as part of the new CBA, which they hope to complete in January. Word is, that the plan would be for the 17th game for all 32 teams to be an international one, where no teams give up a home game going forward. I do not know if this is what Armando is referring to or not, but its been mentioned by several NFL news sources.
Do teams have a choice on whether or not they play in London? I honestly hate London games and hate Thursday Night Football. I think it robs the home team fans. In London you take away one game away from the home team and TNF is just bad quality football on a short week, and you are risking injuries.
The article states that an international game is a requirement for teams wanting to host a Superbowl. So that's why.
Yeah, it's a volunteer situation...but they force you to volunteer to get Super Bowls. The problem is that we volunteered for several years in a row and they still didn't give us a Super Bowl.
I vote no...NO!!!! I would rather slam my manhood in a door than to see Miami play another international game. Wait, what? Oh someone already used that line?
