I take it you aren't sold on Tua? I know I'm not yet. Seeing Alabama unaffected by his absence (although I admit, I didnt watch the game, just saw the scores) this weekend though doesn't ease my fears.
He is far from a slam dunk, like Peyton or Luck was. I think his floor is average starter, but that's hardly worth tanking and spending the #1 pick for.
Agreed. I'd think though if Reshad wasn't hurt, we'd have him out there trying to show he can play to trade him for something.
I would love to see what kinds of bets have been made on specific plays or at crucial times during NFL games (any game) this year since this is the first year the NFL is selling real-time game data to the company Sportsradar AG for betting purposes. Not saying anything is "fixed" (I personally won't believe stuff like that without good evidence), but I would love to see that kind of data to be certain. That is.. theoretically you wouldn't want to fix entire games (that's too obvious). Instead you fix the outcome of a specific play here or there.
They should have traded him after week 1 two years ago when he took himself out of the game against Tennessee. Now he has zero worth.
I thought you had to be able to see the ball in order to overturn a spot. Didn't they rule that a first down on the field? I wasn't paying close enough attention to the replays, but could you really see where the ball was when his knee was down?
Not really, just an educated guess. Which is okay sometimes and not okay other times. It's inconsistent and maddening.
Right but, what happened to needing indisputable video evidence to change a call? If you called it a first down by the spot on the field... how can you overturn it by replay if you cant see the ball?!?! That's just ****ing ridiculous.
I dont know man. Flores looks extremely heated after the 4th down overturned call. Hard to think hes tanking. Call it what you guys want to call it, i just don't believe it. Front office. .oh yeah all day tank city Players and coach...just dont see it
I thought that way, until I saw that defensive call just before the half. Now I'm seriously doubting his genuine desire to win a game.
Yup. That's the adjustment. We've played too well against a team playing down to our level. Time to make it easy and guarantee the L
Did you miss our massive roster purge? Did you not take notice of the lack of actual NFL caliber pass rushers on this roster? btw.. good to see you around man!
I really was supportive of Ross for years. Because he does want to win but, he’s so clueless when it comes to football we will never win with this owner. I see that now.
Players around the league are watching this game right now.. watching this **** show.. just soft no balls coaching blatant tanking
look at the first half and what has happened since the intentional throw call at the end of that half. The coaches changed EVERYTHING we were doing right. I don’t think that’s coincidence.
I like Tua, but I'm really thinking Jalen Hurts is the guy. He has more upside than any other prospect I've seen. More dynamic. You draft Chase 1st and pick up Hurts later. Let him ride the bench for a year behind Fitzpatrick, coach him up. I really like that plan.
Normally it is.. yes. This is a unique scenario though. Our roster is filled with JAG's. The only guys you need to be slightly concerned about are Wilkins, Godchaux, Taco... and none are a big concern. So double one of them if you really feel like you have to (I dont), or just play them straight up. Look at the LB's.. who's a good rusher there? Macmillan No. Baker? Not really. Biegel? lol There's no talent. Street guys aren't going to get pressure against NFL starters.
Well that’s it for me. Hope our “leadership” enjoys essentially cheating the game and being terrible on purpose. Idk how many more of these are watchable.
