Pennington is all class and if that isn't a testament that Henne will be the guy for the future I don't know what is (if in fact he actually said this of course)

Exactly how I'd like to see Pennington's career play out here. Wouldn't mind if he helped Beck turn it around as well.

and I think Jake is big & strong enough to pretty much handle any teasing that gets thrown at him, but more importantly he's the type to talk back with his play on the field.

I cannot wait to see Long in regular season action. He's such a mauler, he's going to hurt people while run blocking.

I'm so excited for Sunday, I can hardly control myself at this point.

I've always liked and respected Chad.. absolutely hated that he went to the jets.. I think, barring injury, he will flourish here with the playcalling and running game.

IMHO one of the best moves this group made was to make the offensive line a priority and not an afterthought. It has to make Pennington pretty happy knowing they are working on giving him a very good offensive line.
With a good offensive line and Ricky and Ronnie running the ball it should take some pressure off of him and make his job easier.

My hope is that after Pennington retires he joins the Dolphins as a QB coach and gets groomed to eventually become HC of the Dolphins because I truly believe he will be a very successful headcoach in this league.. And wouldnt that TOTALLY tee off the Jets fans!!

Could you imagine if CHAD freaking PENNINGTON became the next Shula for the Phins and stuck it to the Jets for a decade or two?

Lets hope Sparano is the next great Dolphins HC and spends a long time in South Beach.

I will say, we are 100% better shape going into the season this year compared to last season, if we can jog the memory bank

    1. Trent Green was our starter
    2. Joey Porter did not play at all in the preseason
    3. Ronnie Brown was battling Jesse Chatman
    4. We were arguing over Chris Chamber's hands.
    5. Could Vern Carey play LT
    6. LJ Shelton lost a ton of weight
    7. Jason Allen B*UST
    8. Ronnie Brown B*ust

    This year

    1. Chad Pennington fell into our laps for only money, healthy after almost completing Jets Camp

    2. Ronnie is healthy, Ricky is healthy

    3. Rebuilt oline, Including the #1 overall pick

    4. Rebuilt ST

    5. Retooled secondary, Goodman is playing Day 1, Jason Allen is our jack of all trades, Yeremiah Bell is healthy

    6. New NT, Truck was cooked last season, we didn't know until we started playing.

I notice the pure "hope" factor like we had last year, with the "magic" Head Coach and the "magic" Defensive Co Ordinator, we are much more solid then just hope.
