We should put Flores at LT so he can get his sorry *** head beat in every play.

What a filthy piece of **** that man is. I wish only the worst upon his sorry ***.

I say we get the guy from the Allstate commercials for left tackle- we need a little more mayhem on the line this season.

I was over reacting, the fact is still that Flores is a clown.

Do you really believe Flores is calling the shots on these personnel moves? A first time rookie head coach? No doubt he's going along with these moves but, this buck stops somewhere else.

Why wouldn't he be, he has no other option.

  10. Did he hurt you somehow or are you just trying to be an edgy internet guy? Why is he a "filthy piece of ****" and why would any adult man have such a visceral, hateful reaction to a simple football coach of a silly game we all watch for fun?

So, with the state of our offensive line. I am compiling a list of what our new strategy on offense might be...

    a) Run it up the gut over and over. The 3 runs and punt strategy we are all so very fond of. A punt isn't a bad thing right Dave?
    b) 3 step drop. Get it out quick and rely on any fortuitous late hit penalties to help us move the ball down the field.
    c) Snap and run like your hair is on fire! Sort of like the keep-away game we played when we were kids. Love to see this one! LOL!
    d) Snap and fall into the fetal position. **** it! This is a tank for Tua season anyway. Why does it matter?
    e) Snap and heave. Just launch that sucker in the direction of Williams and hope he wins the jump ball.

    Any others?

They are tanking this season. Your weakest area is your offensive line so you trade possibly your best lineman. I am so sick of wait till next year. Ive been waiting since 1973. I could be dead next year at my age. So they have 1st round draft picks. How many of those have worked out for us with brain trust of this organization? You know what Tunsil is. A good solid lineman.

Lol, I’m glad you appreciated it. Sometimes you have to take ridiculous statements to an even more extreme, ridiculous place

I overreacted, but I hate that we traded away young talent for picks that we hope to use on young talent.

Tunsil was a building block and there was no reason to get rid of him.

I hated it as much as anyone- but two 1st and two 2nd rounders? That's one heck of a haul for any one player. I'm guessing by the end of 2019, we could sign Brees, Rodgers, Brady or several other aging elite QB's for less (so they can chase Tua). Once you get past the shock and anger, it was a very good move by Miami.

Again, that doesn't mean I don't absolutely hate it- we should have kept James and Tunsil and we could have been an 8+ win team this season. That infuriates me to no end because this team has done that over and over with the line. So believe me, I get it. That doesn't change the fact that it was a smart move overall though.

Maybe if I thought we drafted well at all I'd hate it less.

It's basically going to be two very late firsts that dont have much more value than 2nd rounders and a late second that is basically a third.

I'd guess we end up backwards talent wise after all the picks are made.

I'm with you on that, everything else here, not so much, but it is what it is. I think the thing to keep in mind with the accumulation of these draft picks is being missed though. Yeah, it's likely to be a late 1, but I think they're really just trying to safeguard themselves against potentially not getting the 1st overall pick and having to trade up. They're building up a big pile of draft day resources. Even if we end up with the first overall, they've still then got that late 1, and a bunch of other picks to use to trade up in the first round again if there is a player there they really love to add to whatever QB they take.

It's about having the options to move around within that first round if you need to and want to. I think it's a no brainer we're picking at least top 3, if not first overall at this point, but who knows. So get your QB, either stay put with wherever houston's 1 ends up, or use it and some other ammo to move back up if there's another high first rounder you want, such as a WR, OL, or pass rusher.

The problem though like you said is trusting them to actually scout and select the right players who will have an impact, and want to stick around. It's easy for us fans now to sit here and go yea!!! picks!! we're rebuilding the right way! Lets not forget though... to get where Cleveland is today, how many times did they go through the process of drafting QB's and trading away vets to accumulate picks to keep trying? There's no guarantee this works, and to an extent I'm with Alex here on being concerned this franchise actually gets it right when the draft process rolls around.

I'm watching the opener against the Ravens. Its 42 to 3. Who is over reacting? They are putting a ****ty awful product on the field. I've been a fan since 1968. Since when is releasing or trading most of your first round picks a winning strategy. Once again I'm tired of wait till next year. Been doing that since 73. They hire a coach who was never even a coordinator. Why? Just because he coached for the Patriots.
