Pick 2.09 is in. Gased and Confused is on the clock. Now, I root for Zeke Elliot to have a long holdout!
Meh not worried. If he’s out past early August he loses a year toward free agency. Doubt he gives that up.
Apparently, due to the 5th year option and the threat of two years of being franchise tagged after that, his camp sees the Cowboys as effectively having four more years of control over him, and therefore basically sees Elliot as having nothing to lose by risking it. Now, I fully support the League and the teams in this, and will hardcore root against any player who holds out while he's under contract. But hey, if it happens and my fantasy team benefits, I'm not going to say no!
You guys of course took my top two options with picks 10 and 11 before it was my turn again. 2.12 is in. My Ball Zach Ertz is up.
I've thought about that too. My four QBs all have different bye weeks, but only Matt Ryan is guaranteed to start at all. If Rosen isn't starting Week 9 for the Fins, I might have to pick someone up off the street.
Some of you still have cuts to make, and everyone who just drafted needs to make additional cuts to stay at 25.
To your support, you did just update my original cuts. I’m guessing trade pickups are on their way as I have 3 extra on my roster I traded away. I know it’s a lot to keep up with!
Given that I already have to cut four players from my team, I'm very willing to take a 2021 3rd rounder for pick 3.12 if anyone is interested in adding one more rookie to their roster.
does an IR player count towards the roster? (D.Thomas) i should be able to have 26 until our roster are transferred
I want to say you had to get to 25 for him to load them and then could add the ir player once we’re in the league. I don’t think he can add them.
Yes, an IR player counts towards your 25. You can throw him on IR after rosters are inputted then put in a waiver claim with your extra roster spot.
You get $100 to silent bid on waivers throughout the entire season. Tiebreakers are determined by traditional waiver order.
Yeah, thsts how I worked ot with two of my players last year. I had to carry them until the league was activated, then IR them in Yahoo. I do wish we had more IR slots. Makes it tough to "store " players with long term injuries.
