Ridley was gone before Foster in every redraft I looked at from the sites you mentioned. My only point. A first round pick I the nfl doesn’t deem first round rookie status. Didn’t mean to pick back after you picked first. Lesson learned. Sorry man.
My sell jobs? What sell job is that? I wont even bring up your sell jobs...it may cultivate some hard feelings from those people
You might not like Foster personally, but to publicly criticize the value of a player on another GM’s trading block is bush league my friend. The average-Joe-operated Dynasty sites don’t value him as highly for the the same ignorant reasons why they didn’t initially highly value George Kittle, Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, James Connor, Marlon Mack, Chris Carson, Tariq Cohen, Doug Baldwin, etc. It’s simply bc they weren’t drafted highly to begin with. These arm-chair website guys get LAZY and often don’t bother to assess the actual players, especially the ones not drafted highly. There’s a reason why I trust my own assessments over theirs. Yeah, Foster really sucks. He only had four games of 105, 94, 104, and 108 over the final 7 games as a rookie with a rookie QB, catching 71% of the balls his way. Josh Allen is not a dink-and-dunk passer, so Cole Beasley will not be the #1 WR. He likes to throw to the boundaries and drive the ball downfield, and he can extend plays with his legs to get the ball to his playmakers. When you have a cannon like his, you want the bigger bodied 6’2 guy with the larger catch-radius and superior athleticism when speed is virtually equal. With Foster’s route running improving significantly, the smaller speed guy will likely be the one serving as the decoy more often when Brian Daboll is looking to create space in the secondary or matchup advantages.
I’m gonna interject this now. I propose a rule from here on out that enforces a 2nd round penalty on any GM who publicly trashes another GM’s player for the purpose or effect of hurting said player’s trade value. The GM will then lose his next upcoming 2nd round pick.
I wasn’t the first to pick; you actually were. Remember, you said “I think you misspelled trash”. That was ok bc it was light-hearted and wasn’t specific. Then I responded back with a light-hearted gif of my own to your ensuing trade-block list. You then followed that up by singling out one of my players with the intention of questioning and ridiculing his trade value just bc you yourself aren’t as high on him. I myself am, however, which is why I snapped him up quickly to begin with.
I've said I'm sorry. Neither the trash comment nor the rolly man and following were meant to harm the player, but were in jest with the manager. Lesson learned on asking questions and trying to understand things to take that stuff off the board and into a direct message. I hope you can get twice what you're asking for him. I'd be happy for you.
I think you’ve earned a little leeway as a talent evaluator as you’ve done well over the years. I don’t think the second round pick is necessary if you trash another teams player but I agree it’s frowned upon and shouldn’t really be done. What’s trash to one person is treasure to the next as we all ave own biases in fantasy sports.
I wouldnt do compensation. If it became a consistent thing (i.e. 3 strikes) with 1 manager id just find a new manager to be honest. I did that in one of my pay leagues a few years back. Personally i think the correct way to take issue with an asking price is via PM or some 1-1 convo...as we have had convos in the past or as ive had convos with Brandon about some players ans the asking price. Basically negotiate. People can ask for anything they want but there has to be a market and a 2nd person to accept that price. If you can get the ask price, god bless and move on.
Players on the block for picks...or for other players i like. Inquire via PM QB Ben Roethlisberger RB Kalen Ballage RB Kenneth Dixon RB Gus Edwards RB James White RB Jamaal Williams RB Jeff Wilson Jr. RB Elijah McGuire WR Sterling Shepard WR Deon Cain WR Dede Westbrook WR Marcell Ateman TE Eric Ebron TE Troy Fumagalli K Stephen Gostkowski
Willing to trade back in the first round from 1.6 if anyone is interested in moving up. Let me know. Thanks!
Ehh all your players suck. Just wanted to get that in before this becomes a rule. Out of curiosity, why can't you trash another teams players. Every league im in people trash each other. They get praise for perceivved good picks and trashed for perceived bad picks
Doing it for draft picks isn’t really a problem. If it’s a player on your trading block, however, then that’s a different story bc you’re potentially influencing his trade value.
I messaged him through the board, but not sure he's getting those. Someone may need to wake him back up lol
Never. They can be done at any time. The players can only change teams though if it’s before the Yahoo deadline. Just make sure to announce your trades here if they involve draft picks or if they’re done either before the league starts or after yahoo’s deadline and need to be input manually.
Best way to get me. Thanks guys! Sorry to hold y’all up I am NEVER here anymore but will be totally active during the season for sure. Miss some of you idiots tho. Not you Todd.
Dick! Told u I don’t like to cuddle afterwards. I know you’re like a big, hairy, smelly, aged, broken-in teddy bear... but still.
Along with Golladay that would be your starting lineup. Don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house
i'm hoping to move up to a glass house after this draft and FA period. Right now my house is made of cardboard and has a smelly dirty wino living inside
Interested in adding a late first or second rnd pick if anyone is willing to trade and sees something they may be interested in.
