I was at that game. It was hot as hell and I was with a bunch of Oakland fans. If I remember correctly it was the first game after Sept. 11th.
I was in the nosebleeds with a bunch of Oakland fans too. Yes, it was the first game. Gruden cried during the national anthem. Everyone was pretty affected.
I see those numbers, and think...those numbers should be about what they are, taking into considering that he's starting his 9th year in the NFL, and there was no game-planning by the other team, except for the cameo appearance at NO.
I almost cried. It was a pretty emotional day. I never had the National Anthem mean so much to me. And to this day it means more than it ever did before Sept. 11th. Me and my dad where pretty somber for the first quarter. He was the only other Dolphin Fan I was with. We were full of joy walking out though. 4 hour drive back to Orlando was pretty quiet with a Jokeland fan riding in the back seat.
I never root for a player to be injured but if Favre goes down with an injury and misses the season or a few games that will put a smile on my face because how Jets fans have been gloating since he was traded.
Two. One way back in 2002 when he had an arm. The other in 2004 where the defense and Nate Keading carried him. Most Jets fans have been done with Pennington since he got hut for the 73rd time in 2005.
More like truth. We know what we're talking about. We had him for eight years, you've had him for three weeks.
No, more like sour grapes. I've been watching him for the last nine years too and he's looked better than anything we've had since the end of 1999.
Sorry I don't think you do. Either a guy can play football or he can't, and Chad can. He may be injury prone, but if/when he is healthy he's a good QB.
Jets fans don't realize that we will be quite happy with an 80+ rated QBR with low INT's on a run heavy team. This offense is suited for him. He just needs to stay healthy and keep working those play actions. We aren't expecting his 90-100+ QBR years. We just want a solid stable QB for a year or two until Henne is ready.
