I have nothing but respect for Gase
    Ross and Grier
Ross is my guy — he don’t need to know football
He pour out all his money on this team and wants to win.
Gase quit on this team since last season and he didn’t make any effort to bring another Qb to compete with Ryan.
    Gase a good coach
Hell do well with Baker. Godspeed Gase ✊

Not really a surprise, considering how this season - and last - ended.

I know that injuries haven’t helped, but the consistency of performances just wasn’t there from game to game.

I know very little of what goes on behind the scenes of the organisation, but from what you guys have said, it seems the whole thing is a mess.

As Orange Juice said, Rip it Up And Start Again.

YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I am so Happy. I didn't like Gase so much it made me wanna vomit to see him in Dolphin gear. Course there is a possibility I could hate the next coach but technically I haven't been a fan of any coach except Shula. This team needs to get it right for once. Your GM and your HC and your QB and the foundational pieces for prolonged success in this league.

    Now cut Tannenbaums throat.

Nice I had Vic Fangio on my list too after Harbaugh. His Bears defense was impressive.

Good riddance. Gase has a serious personality problem. He doesn't know how to deal with people/players that challenge him. He regularly blew off or ignored everybody from players and reporters to even the owner of the team. He believed his own hype thinking he was some genius, refusing to give up play calling even after three seasons of terrible offensive performance. One of the most overrated coaches in the NFL imo.

He can thank payton manning for most of the success he had in his career. Had nothing much to do with his so called brilliant offensive mind.

Maybe Gase needed this. A little bit of humility might do him some good. I think in a couple years we will be seeing a more mature (as far as coaching goes) guy on the sidelines. One that adapts better and isn't stuck with some stupid rigid plan in his head that requires the entire team to work like a well oiled machine. It sucks that he cut his teeth with us and some other team will reap all the spoils, but that's football.

I doubt it because Gase hasn't said anything suggesting he needs to reassess his approach, which is why I think he'll fail next time around.

It's not easy to become a long-term winning HC in the NFL. The default assumption should be that the HC you hire will NOT become great, not the other way around. So until Gase proves otherwise as far as we can tell the guy is just average and there's no reason to worry about us firing him too early. The flip side to that of course is that it's fairly likely we fail once again to hire the right guy ourselves lol.

Gase has the EQ of a toddler. As a leader, in any organization, that is the kiss of death.

I would bet dollars to day old doughnuts that if he gets a HC job this offseason, he will be fired (again) within three years.

I think he’s proven over 3 years that he’s not very good at actually evaluating players.. kind of weird considering he’s a head coach..but It’s a real thing.

Kinda like milk on a hot day, Tying your future to Tannehill is a baaaaad choice..

Do we even know the reason he turned down the offer from Gase? If we don't then this is pointless. For all anyone knows maybe Richard didn't want to coach with a guy like Gase as his boss.

It's not pointless, because it refutes the idea that people keep passing around that Gase wanted Burke.

No the end of the tweet just said don't believe everything you read so I just wasn't sure if I should believe that there was a long line of players and staff stopping at Gase's office to say goodbye.
