Henne is learning the NFL is not that easy.

The Saints have the right idea. Pressure the young linemen and as a result pressure the rookie QB
Ultimately count it as a good thing. We can see how Long, Thomas and Henne respond to that.

 

The bad part is that this gives the Jets some nice footage on how to attack our line next week...

We'll be seeing a lot of that during the year...I know Pennington can handle it, but I don't know if our WRs can.

Ronnie looked okay. Hagan looks like crap, as always.

 

Is it just me or have the Saints been running their second team offense vs. our first team defense since the first possession?

 

Cant believe I forgot about that Hagn looks like pure crap

 

I know Brunell is the backup but the quality is crappy so I cant tell if the starting o-line is playing or starting receivers

 

I hope to God we can pick up someone's Aug 30th cut and get rid of Hagan's worthless ***.

Derek Hagan still has Will Allen caliber hands.

 

Hopefully Pennington can be kind of a calming voice to our young guys. One great reason for Pennington to be here. From the 1st day he's been vocal, so I would expect he could help out with that.

 

Don't hold your breath, he has looked good moreso than bad this preseason and he is slated to start for us in week 1. Barring something earth shattering falling into our laps, there is no way he leaves.

Not too well so far. Starks with a sack so far. We've been pretty inconsistent this evening. Good play, then a couple of bad ones. No big deal though. We'll be fine.
Gotta say, I'm curious to see half time adjustments
