very nice! nice to see a phin getting some recognition. What a great play that was though, i was thinking to myself "what the f.." when he started going backwards, then once i saw him find a hole and turn on the speed... it was more like.. "holy crap!!" unreal! hopefully we get to see a few of those during the season!
he is talking about a bust as in the ones they make of players that are inducted into the hall of fame.
Luckily it turned out good but I think the play was actually a little risky. I'm sure the coach said after the play NO RUNNING BACKWARDS! I can't see that working in the regular season often. Props to Ginn though for turning on the jets! So weird, he has that long stride so it doesn't even look like he's running that fast.
yeah thats what saw reggie bush try to do so much his rookie year, only to have the D wise up and starting ending him in the backfield. those little run around backwards plays that work so well in college don't fool pro D's nearly as much. but, still a great play
