Did he? I fell asleep after the INT and didn't keep watching the game. Oh you right, the Parmele coming out party right? Ok I change my original statement to TD Pass then
Yeah ?? And you think any of us, including the staff can see what Beck (and McCown) have to offer in OTAs against no D and one preseason game when the staff knew that Pennington was coming ?? I don't think so....
Not really sure if I agree with it, but I do believe his shot is over. I believe that Pennington is the QB of the present and that the staff will groom Henne as the QB for the future. It is what it is people. Unless something drastic happens, I believe that this will be the path we will take.
Yeah, I think the staff saw plenty. I trust their analysis more than anybody on this board (no offense to any of the great minds Phins.com has). That's why I'm content with the decisions they have made regarding the QB position and the results seem to be speaking for themselves.
I'd count that as one-and-a-half mistakes. Wilford has indeed been dreadful; McCown's role has necessarily diminished because of the unforseeable availability of Chad Pennington. We have achieved a sizeable net upgrade as a result.
Beck either isnt NFL ready, or just does not have the talent to play in the NFL. Which for me is somewhat saddening, i was a huge Beck supporter, but I havent seen much from him to warrant him staying a Dolphin
I trust their analysis, too. But so far, their analysis only lead to Chad Pennington being named the starter and John Beck still ahead of the quarterback that is supposedly ten times better than him.
A lot of people say that it is obvious that Beck is done and Chad Henne is going to be the back-up, yet during a time where the starting offensive line, the starting quarterback, and starting defensive ends are named, John Beck is still listed ahead Chad Henne. Check the latest depth chart.
Still doesn't change my stance. I still have faith in their decision making process. If they put John Beck in front of Henne on the depth chart, then I would trust they know what they are doing. Not for nothing, but I think it's a safe assumption that Chad Henne and not John Beck is the future of the Dolphins. I don't care where John Beck is on the depth chart right now.
Tony has said over and over again that the QB's depth chart it's based on nfl experience and thats it as of right now. Anyone watching the games would know CH is # 2 on there real depth chart.
