Better D Line, for now?

Armando Salguero of the Herald has an interesting take:

With the D-line rotation shortened it means more snaps will be taken by Quinn and Wake who are better than Branch etc. Although it might mean the older guys are more fatigued later in the year (something it's argued Gase and Burke are trying to avoid by having lots of rotational players), in the short term it could mean better overall performance.

What could prevent this, or even provide a worse D-line, is if Gase and Burke commit to the same snap counts, albeit with the reserves brought up.

    Thoughts?

First thought for me is that Wake is good in rushing passers but not against the run. So we could get worse where maybe we need to get better.

Then again, a fast rush again Brady might be what's needed?

I read that earlier. It is an interesting take on it that could well be correct. It definately does not hurt to have your best pass rushers on the field more.

Oh you can bet Belicheck is already working on ways to attack our linebackers. That is going to be his focus because our secondary is playing very well and so is the d line.
