http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3173002 Hey, maybe Parcells can pry Roy Williams or Calvin Johnson loose for a second-day pick, given that their talents are no longer going to be utilized in Detroit.
The Kitties (Lions) sure have made some strange decisions this millenium, but this would be the most perplexing one. Letting Kippy Brown be a coordinator again is stupid.
Martz does make some weird calls on offense but really he seems to have gotten the most out of Kitna that anyone could get. Just when you think the Lions are moving forward...
UGH I sure hope he does not get the Head Coaching Job here.... I hat Martz... I see him wanting to be a headcoach again next year.
Kippy Brown coached the Fin offense I think under Wrongstat. Needless to say we didn't do very well... run middle, run left, run right, then punt.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kippy_Brown This is what I found about him: From 1996-1999, he was on Jimmy Johnson’s Miami Dolphins coaching staff, where he was the offensive coordinator from 1998-99 and the running backs coach from 1996-97. In 1996, Brown helped RB Karim Abdul-Jabbar become the first Dolphins running back to reach 1,000 yards in 18 years, and in 1997 Abdul-Jabbar tied a league-high 15 rushing touchdowns.[2]
JJ made Kippy O.C. and in turn took away Marino's ability to call audibles. Another reason our downfall started with Jimmy Johnson.
