Well now game's officially over. Great start! It's realistic to start 3-0 now before we face the Pats.
Okay, now I can relax. Ugly win in a lot of ways, but time to starting making some adjustments for the Jests. Our schedule is really favorable for this team to play into good form.
Victory!!! Took over 7 hours, but we got the job done. Fun game after the 2nd lightning break. Glad to see a week 1 win in Tannehill's return. Thought he played well. Those two INT's suck. First one, we've covered here, second one, looked like some miscommunication there with him and Grant given how he not only overthrew it, but was also in a different zip code from where Grant was. Kind of expected a bit from a guy who hasn't played in over 600 days. Got to clean that up thogh, can't let it be an issue. All in all though on offense, thought they did a good job of getting into a rhythm and getting momentum going, all things considered today. Defense, I thought was sloppy at times. Poor tackling everywhere. A win is a win, and it's great to get the season off on a winning note. Time to pick out my glas of victory scotch... the first of what I hope is 16 this regular season, with a few more in the playoffs
Well, there it is.. 1-0. That's all that matters. The delay hurt us way more than it did the Titans, nearly wiped us of home field advantage (crowd + early afternoon heat). In the end it worked out and we also got lucky on the health-side of things, unlike the Titans... terrible luck for them this game.
Biggest difference ive seen so far from last year, we are putting a lot more pressure on the opposing qbs, a lot more. We should always be trying to get the qb on the ground. Reshad Jones is the MVP today.
For all the crap that happened today, Tannehill goes 20-28, 230 yards with 2 tds and 2 ints, after not playing for basically two seasons, and people are *****ing about him? With a 75 yard bomb in there? GTFO
What did he do after that beautiful TD? Threw a wounded duck that was picked off. Tannehill in a nutshell.
High fives all around guys. Fins Up! 1-0 feels good despite Tannehill's shaky performance. First game of the season even the haters gotta cut him some slack.
The funny thing is we scored 27 and left easily 10 more on the field. We weren’t sniffing that area of PPG last year and we played shaky with distractions today. Hopefully a good sign to come.
I thought Ryan played a brilliant first half before the INT. Second half however, beyond the DIME to Stills, he looked pretty pedestrian. I give him a C+ and I feel like that is a fair grade.
