Three passes? See, that's the problem, imo. As crappy as this offense has been for over 17 years, the coaches should keep Tannehill, Gesicki, and the rest of the starting offense in there for 3 quarters every preseason game. I don't understand the mentality that the starters on this garbage offense have the privilege of playing a couple of series in any game. Score some damn touchdowns, then maybe I will take you out of the game. I guess I am just different. And, I don't believe in fearing injuries...this team needs all the practice it can get.

I don't see that as the bigger picture. Developing chemistry with the QB is the biggest picture for the offense I want.

There are other players on the team and only two quarters of play

Most surprising thing about the Dolphins in the last 10 years for me, actually. I thought with Wake and Suh on the field together it would result in mayhem for opposing QBs, and I thought the passing defense overall would be stifling.

    So wrong.

The chemistry of the starters and rotation guys is more important. They need to be in pads playing together as much as possible if we want to get this team on track.

Everyone else can be evaluated in the 4th quarter of preseason games, on special teams, and in practice. That's more than enough evaluation time.

    I thought so too.

You know.. something similar happened in Detroit w.r.t the run defense. In 2009 without Suh Detroit's Y/C given up was 4.4, a bit worse than 4.2 average. Then Suh comes in and in 2010 it was 4.5 (league average = 4.2), in 2011 it was 5.0 (league average = 4.3), in 2012 it was 4.5 (league average = 4.3), in 2013 it was 4.2 (same as league average), and then in 2014 you had an incredible 3.2!!! (league average still 4.2).

So the first 4 years in Detroit, Suh didn't help the run defense either. In fact on average it got worse. Then something miraculous happened in year 5 and Detroit had the best run defense in the league that year.

lol.. if anyone can explain that I'm all ears. Regardless, it does show you have to adjust expectations about what an elite DT is likely to do to your defense.

Understood this is his biggest weakness but Zero attempt in the Red zone on what 5 trips this preaseason Zero attempts is silly and stupid for his need.

Me too, and that's what they looked like at the Panthers training camp a few years back. The Fins fans in attendance all thought we had a legit shot at something special that year.

His catch radius is amazing. It is like asking Jordan to work on dunking in the preseason. No, Jordan needs to work on his defense.
