I think lebron wants to stay in cleveland honestly but theyre in a drought of resources. This same team next year wont make it to the Finals.

They can dangle their 7th pick and attach a bad contract (tristan thompson or klove), and maybe get some third tier talent out of it but is that enough to keep him around? I dont know.

OT, if this version of lebron james was in the Heat, we dont lose against the Spurs on his final year here.. we beat the spurs in 5.

MJ already wrecked a better version of Klay Thompson in Reggie Miller so who exactly would be guarding MJ? The teams that tried to run uo and down in MJs era, most notably Golden State with they had Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin couldnt do much...because wait for it...they actually played defense then. So while Im not sure MJ would have swept the Warriors, yeah i do think he would have beat them.

    Jordan vs LeBron

Updated after Lebrons 14th season. Michael Jordan has:
    •3 more rings
    •3 more final mvps
    •1 more DPOY
    •1 more season MVP
    •9 more scoring titles
    •3 more steals leader
•3 more all defensive team selections
•4000 more points / bron moved past him in playoff points, but it took him longer.
    •800 more steals
•Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs (Lebron only defeated 10)
•Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals
    Lebron did it twice
•6/6 in the Finals (never allowed a game 7)
•Lebron had much more offensive help, example:
Jordan never had a teammate average more than 22 points in the finals.. In fact, Mj is Only player in NBA history to lead a team to the championship with only one teammate averaging double figures in scoring
    * In the Bulls’ 1997 playoff run, Scottie Pippen averaged 19 points per game on 42% shooting. All other teammates of Jordan averaged under 8 points per game
Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26
•MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs
•MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games..
MJ accomplished all of this in 13 seasons
Lebron after his 14th season, is still chasing the “ghost (GOAT) that played in Chicago”
•Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg.
(86 vs bos, 89 vs cavs, 90 vs philly, 92 vs Miami, 93 vs Phoenix, 88 vs cavs) Jordan won every one of those matchups except for the 1986 matchup vs the celtics.
•Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line.
•in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this.
•the lowest FT% MJ ever shot in a season was 78%. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%.
    •MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3%
•MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3.
•MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9%
•LeBron James has scored 30 points, 416 times in 1,143games.
Michael Jordan did it 562 times in 1,072 games.
Jordan won 6 championships without losing a final in 1,072 games and LeBron in 1,143 games has lost 5 times (about to be 6) and has only won 3 times
•MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year..
•Mj also has more career blocks (893) than Lebron James (888) despite playing in 71 LESS career games and being the smaller guy.
Also, MJ averaged 1.6 blocks per game in the 1987-88 season which is absolutely bonkers for a 6’6″ shooting guard.
Seriously this list can keep going. This isn’t even a debate. Mj is the GOAT.
    MIchael Jordan:
•NBA record 5 playoffs series’ averaging atleast 40ppg
•Only player in history to lead league in scoring and win DPOY
•Highest scoring average, points per game, in any championship series:
41.0 vs. Phoenix Suns, 1993 NBA Finals
•Only rookie in NBA history to lead his team in four statistics (1984–85)
•Only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring, win Most Valuable Player, and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season (1987–88)
•Only player in history to average at least 30pts 6reb 5assists And 2 steals per game AND HE DID IT 7 TIMES.
    •Only player in NBA history to win Rookie of the Year (1984–85), Defensive Player of the Year (1987–88), NBA MVP (1987–88, 1990–91, 1991–92, 1995–96, 1997–98), All-Star MVP (1988, 1996, 1998), and Finals MVP (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998)
•Only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring and win the NBA championship MORE THAN ONCE in the same season
    * He did this SIX TIMES!! (1990–91, 1991–92, 1992–93, 1995–96, 1996–97, 1997–98)
•One of two players in NBA history to score 3,000 points in a season: 3,041 points scored in 82 games played (37.1 ppg) (1986–87)
    * Wilt Chamberlain is the only other player to achieve this.
•MJ is also the only player in NBA history to score over 40 points at age 40, and he did it twice!
•In 1988, MJ earned: Dunk Champ, All Star Game MVP, NBA Scoring Title, League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year.
Michael in only ELEVEN complete seasons with the Bulls:
    -10 scoring titles,
-Won Defensive Player of the Year,
    -9 times all defensive team,
    -9time All NBA,
    -5 league MVPs
    -6 finals MVPs
All 11 seasons. Mj has done in 11 seasons things Lebron hasn’t done and won’t do in his whole career…

Remind me again...who is the GOAT? :confused2:

Yea but the sixers think they can get lebron by bringing in griffin... which is dumb but whatever lol i dont think lebron has ever made a decision because of a GM, he makes his decision based off what players he can play with.

In miami he saw wade and bosh committed first, he came here.

Then in cleveland he saw kyrie irving and the first overall pick that can net him another star so he chose to go back.

But now i dont think best chance of winning a championship is on his mind. He proved he can take any team to the Finals.

I think whoever gives him floyd mayweather money will get lebron. So if someone has 50-60 million in space for lebron he will consider you. This is a guy who plans to own a team some day. He is going to cash in big this summer.

Lets say PG13 signs with the knicks this offseason. Then yall get Demarcus Cousins on a 1+1 or trade the french dude and your 1st rounder for an elite player. Lebron signs with the knicks and runs through the East. In game 6 of the finals, Lebron and the ****ty knicks win the series, 4-2, against GS in MSG. Youre sitting 10th row, and Lebron locks eyes with you, points at you, and slingshots his sweaty headband at you and winks at you when you catch it.

You'd sleep with that headband on every night.

I still think its more likely he goes to Houston. CP3 is in his circle and hes not exactly close with anyone in Philly. Id rather see him keep the warriors from even reaching the finals.

I don’t know if I’d sleep with it, but I love the jersey with NY on it. I’d prefer to win without King Nothing. But your scenario is improbable for three reasons...One, the Knicks don’t have the cap space nor the desireable assets for this. Two, it wouldn’t be Knick-like to go after good players in their prime. And three, Scott Perry and Steve Mills don’t have the chops to get this scenario done. Fizdale might.

And it’s Ntilinkina. Not the French dude. I wouldn’t trade him straight up for Cousins. He’s already the second best defensive PG in the league after Lowry. Now he’s not coming over directly after a Eurloleague championship where he had no time to really rest. Try learning a new language, culture, city while playing more games and minutes then ever as a 19 year old with that on your plate. If he’s got a nickname it’s going to be the truth because kids faced adversity like no one else in the league after leaving war torn Rwanda for France. Nah, stash him now if you have fantasy leagues. For once the Knicks have something brewing under the age of 35 that’s not making 20 mil.

I agree it’ll be Houston. Though I could see Boston. The path through the east is still easier then out west. He doesn’t want his streak of finals appearances broken.

Dude I was being about 0.0000001% serious. Besides, Lebron doesn’t wear headbands anymore.

I think the Rwandan genocide ended before he was born in Europe, but yeah that’s still crazy to be born into a family that went through that. I don’t follow him or research him at all but I’m willing to bet he’s more appreciative and hard working than these aau babies that have been coddled since the 7th grade.

Also, thank you incompetent refs, George hill, JR Smith, Cavs front office, and most importantly, Kevin Durant for all your contributions in putting LeBron, once again, on the losing side of a championship run.

I love how, for many, Kevin Durant is the villain in the nba these days (it used to be LeBron) for having ditched his original team and joining a better one to win championships; and he pretty much reminded ex-bad guy Lebron in two straight Finals series that the villainous route is the way to more than one championship for an nba franchise these days.

I won’t join the pity party for LeBron, especially considering he can easily get the ball rolling to joining or helping put together some kind of Finals-worthy super team elsewhere this summer. He has the influence to do this. He has at least one more ring in his future.

The whole cast/broken hand thing was very tacky.. lol just like brady and his Papercut. Just take it in the chin, and let the warriors celebrate the most vapid nba season in deacees.

Lebrons ppl were so quick to let the media know. Jesus

We are looking to dump salary this offseason. Dragic and Whiteside are available and most attractive. I can even see the Heat try to package them together but that is still a lot for another team to take in. Though lets be real, dragic is easily the starting PG in cleveland and whiteside is easily their starting center.

Other contracts the heat would love to get expirings for is James and Tyler Johnson but very unlikely especially Tyler, his contract becomes valuable the following season when he becomes a giant expiring.

I was just thinking of teams outside the obvious that would be fun to see Lebron in but would never happen..

    Phoenix Suns..

They have Devin Booker who looks to be the next Klay Thompson and theyre about to get Deandre Ayton. You put Lebron and thats a formidable 3.

    Portland Trailblazers..

Just to see lebron and Damian play together. They would definitely make some noise..

    Utah Jazz..

Lebron and D-Mitchell, they also have Gobert.

Again none of these teams have a chance in hell, but if lebronwere to think outside the box, it wouldnt be so bad.
