Maybe, but an argument over something that has no chance of happening is definitely pointless because we have no chance of seeing who is right.

Id rather discuss something realistic, like idk....whiteside, winslow, and a piece for AD?

I mean....they did run into a team with 4 future HOF's in their prime. Wouldn't call it fraudulent to lose to those guy's.

We played Boston twice. Beat them twice. First time we beat em, we had Boogie and they had Kyrie. We won, on the road, in OT. Second time we beat em, no Kyrie, no Boogie. Beat em in NOLA by 20.

Yes. I am making light of how annoying PWR was during regular season touting his rockets as better than Warriors and calling Westbrook a fraud all year and how I stated that the rockets will, as they are currently doing, flop against the Warriors when they turn it on for the playoffs.

Some dumbass will, because he will be apart of a team that will likely win every title as long as KD is there.

Riding the coat tails of everyone else. Just along for the ride. I’m not even sure that Klay Thompson is a hall of famer but I guess if Ray Allen is and I think ray should be Thompson does too.

Thompson’s either the most overrated or underrated player in basketball. It’s one or the other.

Kevin Durant is by far the best player on that team. When they added that guy they took it to another level.

I wouldnt bet against New Orleans in a series against Boston. Maybe I jumped the gun a bit with how Boston looked against Philly and the first two games against Cleveland. I do think Brad Stevens is a huge advantage over Gentry, though.

I know, I was joking with him.

I think we'll find out soon on Klay. Klays a FA in 2019 and I could see him leaving to be the guy, which I think he can be. At the least, an elite 2nd option. Im not a salary cap guru, but its gotta be impossible to have 4 max guys on Golden State, right?

That’s interesting. I’d want no part of that max contract if he’s coming in to be “the guy”

His game doesn’t do that for me. To me he’s a low level 2 and an ideal 3rd option.

Maybe a mid level 2 but I wouldn’t want to be banking on it.

Agreed. By the time Klay is done I think he will have some solid numbers and efficiency to go along with X titles.

KD is the reason they won last year and will again this year. You cant convince me that team would've won last years title and likely been eliminated by Houston this year. That being said, he will never be in the GOAT conversations because of his choice to join a 73 win team that beat him the year before. Biggest ***** move in NBA history.

Klay is a fantastic basketball player. I think he’d thrive as “the man” on another team.

Ill give you that Lebron had a ****tier method of announcing his FA decision, by far. But as far as the actual FA decision itself, kevin durant made the biggest ***** made decision ever. Idk if you watch or listen to bill burr, but he nailed it on KD.

Gonna have to try to beat lebron in 7. I’ve learned thru the years that’s a bad bet.

It’s all house money for the Celtics though.

I think he's a better version of Ray Allen that needs an alpha on his team. Id max him all day in 2019 on the heat.

I think he’s Bradley Beal but a better defender which is a good damn player but not a guy I think you win many championships with as a lead dog. Ray Allen another fitting comp but klay plays better d.

Celtics had multiple chances to cut it to 5 late but missed shots. Game might have gotten more interesting had horford or rozier made good on them.

So now the bar is set at “win many championships as a lead dog”?!?! And he’s Bradley Beal, but a better defender? Not gonna mention he has the sweetest jumper in the league? Did he screw your sister or something?

At the end of the day all I care about is winning championships. I don’t think klay gets the heat over the Celtics hump any time soon or many other teams.

Will he get max money I’m sure he will should he leave. I just wouldn’t want it to be in Boston.

But I don’t love Gordon Hayward’s contract either.

I wonder what Brad Stevens is gonna try to do to keep rozier off lebron or a big on switches. They carved us up the last 2 games on that.

Would help if Marcus Morris didn’t pick up ticky tack fouls at a only playing lebron clip.

Maybe they will let them play a little more in Boston.

I like Bill Burr a lot (F is Family is great stuff); but he couldn’t be more wrong. There’s no bigger douche in pro sports then LeBron. Even Brady isn’t that douchey lol

I love your football insight. Anytime you post something my ears perk up. But i think a bradley beal comparison isnt fair to Klay. That boy has the sweetest looking junpshot and shoots a better percentage 3 at a higher rate.

Not only that, but Klay has no off court issues. Sure he smoked bud in college, but i smoked enough weed in college to kill a buffalo. Bradley beal is associating himslef with wall and wall keeps throwing up bloods in game. We cant have that in miami.

That’s fair I just saw Beal in that I think unlike ray Allen klay has more ability to get his own shot. To me Beal has that more than ray did. In terms of perimeter shooter like ray Allen you must eliminate air space. Klay does have a sweet looking shot and very quick release and he moves well without the ball to get good looks.

Close. But still far and away worse.

If Lebron would've went to the Celtics then I would agree. But to go to a team that just eliminated you when you were up 3-1 (only to have the same thing done to them the next round) you should hate that team. It wasn't a friendly rivalry in that series either.

He took the easy way out and joined a 73 win team, so he will pay with his legacy. And rightfully so.

If he had announced taking his talents to a borough of NY, you'd feel differently.

Klay is not good enough on ball, IMO, to carry a team. He works best as a complement to someone who's more ball dominant and the defense is watching. Klay's game needs a PG who can shoot so the defense can't sag off and rotate over when he gets the ball. He seems to get to the rim better in transition when the D isn't set, or he gets his man up in the air and defense can't afford to help (with Curry and Durant also on the floor). His hottest games are moments of pure sharpshooting excellence, not really within the scope of a gameplan. He also hasn't shown himself to be consistent enough to carry a team. He's a great number 2 and maybe the best third option in NBA history. Bosh is up there in that category too.

kevin garnett in his prime would wipe the floor with both of them...had he left Minnesota earlier his nba standing would be a lot higher

To me the real comp for Klay is Reggie Miller minus the dirty leg kick and acting. He just runs you off screens untik he gets an ooen look.

Lebron took the easy way out too. Teamed up with a player better then him at the time in Wade. Plus he was conceited enough to have said tv show and plan it in advance. Hes King Douche
