I guess the heat do suck. Boston made it look easy without Kyrie, Gordon, and Jaylen Brown.

Miami just isn't all that talented .We kept accumulating the pieces you surround a marquee player with and just ended up with those players without the marquee.

Seemed to me like Riley took several veiled shots at Spo’s coaching yesterday.

Coaching isnt the issue, talent is. the rotations are always questioned by the fans but what great rotation do yall have in mind that wouldve made a difference? Guys, our best player in that series was 36 years old.. lets not kid ourselves..

Miami's players who care execute about as well as you'd want. They're just not good enough from a talent perspective. Dragic plays about as well as his talent dictates. That Pistons team that beat LA was very talented, just underrated. Same with that GSW team that beat the man's Mavs (although they matched up really well).

Whiteside tanked his stock and has a player option so he's likely going to be here for the foreseeable future.

    Jrue played 46 minutes.
    AD played 42 minutes.
    No free throws by either.
We scored 66 points in the paint with only 9 free throw attempts all game.

This kind of BS is why I hate the Rockets.

I just saw that Tony Brothers is the ref for tonight's game. That means the Rockets will lose by 15 points...smh

He is a smart and talented coach. And hes a players coach i dont give a damn what issues Marc had with him, everyone on the Heat loved him, and his press conference rant against the Spurs is all you need to know.

I guess Tony Brothers shot 27% from deep for Houston and made Utah shoot 47% from deep and 52% from the field. Houston took 2 and made 7 more free throws than Utah as well. This is sad man, Houston shot poorly and lost the game.

Post #1808 (7 hours before the game)

All you have to do is google Rockets/Tony Brothers. You will see the ridiculous history in the past 4-5 years. When have you ever known me to almost guarantee a Rockets loss before a game??? This was so predictable...im not even mad, lol. Rockets fans should be used to him. Harden, Paul, and Capela all in foul trouble...mmkay

  17. CaribPhin

    CaribPhin Guest

The Rockets shot 27% from deep. That's the main indicator here. It doesn't have anything to do with Brothers. The Rockets couldn't knock down the most important shot in their repertoire, and Utah hit 15 of them. They won by 8 and scored +15 from deep while hitting 5 more shots. The only reason the Rockets didn't lose by 15 was because they were +7 from the stripe on two extra opportunities.

You can admit that the Rockets failed down the stretch. They let Utah shoot 50% in the 4th quarter while shooting 26%. Garden and Paul went a mean 5/14 in the final quarter.

Mitchell and Exum also both had 5 fouls, and Gobert had 4. CP3s 5th foul was an intentional foul on Gobert with about a minute left. Hardens 5th was an obvious shove after his missed shot. Please dont think im rooting for Utah, **** them. They stole Donovan Mitchell from us, and I still remember the **** those mormon fans were saying about the state of Florida before Gordon Hayward made his FA decision. I wish Westbrook wouldve backhanded those pasty clowns.

Still rooting for yall over GSW.

Boy did that Sixers hype train go quiet. They are a good young team, but they have alot of growing up to do, they aren't guaranteed to go to the Finals anytime soon.

Incredible to see them when they aren't getting sucked off by the refs/media and they aren't shooting 60% from three. Ben Simmons is not a superstar, he won't be until he can develop some kind of midrange game, he is literally terrified of shooting anything beyond 5 feet from the basket.

    Brad Stevens is the difference.

They have 100x better coaching, Brett Brown makes me sick at times and highly overrated.

Looking forward to bringing in LeBron next season to make the championship run.

2nd Round is the floor. Idk how you can call a ceiling on a super young team that made it to the playoffs once together. That’s called the floor.

It kills me that the Jazz jumped us for Donovan Mitchell. This guy is the closest thing to Dwyane Wade’s start to his career as we’ve seen. The kid is special.

As for the Heat as they’re currently structured, I get the feeling Riley makes a signature trade this offseason. If not, they need to dump what they can. Whiteside for sure, TJ if you can. See what you can get for Dragic, who is the only player you can get real value for that probably isn’t in the long term plans.

You’re assuming a trade and not just waiting out the year. NYK have cap space in the summer of 19. If they hit another pick and Ntilinkina improves (Hint: he will) the Knicks are going to be an attractive destination for a change.

They already have a big time piece with KP. Frank Ntilinkina is already an elite defensive guard at 19. If they can land a good PF like a Wendell Carter or Marvin Bagley or move up and get a guy like Doncic...watch out.

I'm curious. Do you think the refs favored the Jazz in the Brothers game, or are you just arbitrarily chalking that up to Brothers? Because the formers is far from true, and the latter is just silly.

Rockets fans know what's up. I know it sounds crazy, but there is a LONG pattern of nonsense with this one ref. It was easy to predict a Rockets loss even though Vegas had Houston favored by 11 points. That is why I came on here 7 hrs before game 2 to say the Rockets would get blown out. The diehard Rocket fans knew the outcome before the game started. It had nothing to do with the Rockets shooting 27% from three in game 2. If that mattered, explain how they built a 37 point lead in game 3 while shooting only 30% from three. I will tell you how they did it, there weren't imaginary calls being made on the 3 star players this time. The refs actually let Houston play defense without calling imaginary b.s. I have been giving Utah credit all year...even in the off-season. So, I am not hating...I am stating fact. The fans know...

    There are many, many more.
