He had already been interviewing with NYK, Phoenix and at least 1 other team I'm forgetting. He's my 2nd choice after Fizdale and ahead of Blatt for NYK HC.

Now you non heat fans know how it feels to have a team trade up ONE freaking spot ahead of you in the draft. Donovan mitchell and now josh rosen. Hopefully he blows.

What exactly did I say that was personal? Honest question? You have liked many of my posts and I have vice versa.. I have never called out anyone personally. I break PWR's balls sure, but I feel it is all in good trash talk fun.

    Show me an example.

They had 7 extra chances (offensive rebs) to make a shot. They can't shoot.

You accused me of something, how is it not justified for me to respond? Are you seriously playing the "I'm not talking to you" game on a message board? Just put me on ignore if you can't handle my aggressive homosexual love of D Wade and the Heat.

You should be able to tell by now, you guys don't bother me. Hell, I am usually arguing with 3 or 4 of you at a time. I have fun making you guys look silly. It's all fun and trash talking for me. Don't stop trash talking on my account...keep it up. It's entertainment.

With that said, i can understand where Shamegame is coming from.

Again, to help you comprehend. I’ll do this in steps.
    1) McDuffie went personal, I called him out on it and returned the fire.

2)Bevo stepped in on his behalf (which is where you just quoted me)

3)I don’t know what the **** you are talking about now? See my confusion? Your name isn’t anywhere involved. I’m begging you to please comprehend.

    Back to NBA talk.... -_-

PWR may be right. Russ could be a fraud. I don’t know if he will ever be able to win a Championship as the star in today’s NBA. He seems very tough to play alongside of (catch a rhythm, he needs the ball a lot and takes a lot of shots). I see PG13 leaving, like Durant. Melo sucks, so that’s not what I’m talking about.

He certainly is not a fraud. He needs to play alongside a pure PG and just be a slasher.

76ers vs Rockets would be my fav.

MVP this year should broil down to LeBron or Harden. I suspect it will be Bron.
I doubt Mr. Trip-Dub, will take a lesser role. His teammates will literally jump out of the way for a rebound so Russ can get it. Lol I didn’t think it was true either until I personally seen Steven Adams walk away from a rebound cuz Russ was coming. Lol it’s pretty funny to see unfold actually, but that’s part of the systematic problem in OKC right now. Guys are playing wierd basketball so Russ can get his #’s. Feels like wins are secondary if your on Russ’ team. Also, OKC will never de-commit to Russ after the Durant Fiasco and how Russ came away looking like a loyal soldier.

I think I’d rather see Toronto. At least Lowry will play defense since he’s pretty much the best defensive PG in the game over the last 5 years

I wanted Rosen too. I was so tight when that happened but you’re also assuming we would have taken him. I can’t say we would have been that smart even though I had him as the best QB prospect since Luck

True but if your employees are not committed to the same goal as you...then you may as well cut em loose. The Hawks are committed to the tank, Coach Bud isn’t.

You’re right and I feel that way about half the PG in the league but you’re assuming two things:
    1. That he’s willing to accept a less ball dominant roll
    2. That he’d be as effective

Personally, I think he could do it but I’m not sure his ego will allow it.

Paul George should come to New Orleans. We need a wing scorer badly. He’d fit perfectly. He’d also get wide open looks when boogie comes back.

That would be a damn good signing for NOP. Inspired honestly. PG is a credible defender from 1-3 and of course he has an offensive game. I'm curious about whether Davis is better without Cousins though.

My best case scenario for the 2018 Playoffs has always been: Get to the second round and compete. This has the added benefit of Paul George adding us to the list of places to play. If you think about it, the only other place that would make sense for him to go (outside of Houston or GSW) is Philly. You have a frontline of Boogie/AD/PG with Jrue and Rondo in the backcourt you can make some noise. You wanna play with Simmons and Embiid, and stay out of the West, I get that. But if he wants to be a Laker and play with Lonzo, Randle and Kuzma over AD, Boogie, and Jrue, that's just lame....and yes, we're going to resign Boogie. There is no internal debate within the front office.

As for "is Davis better without Cousins", the answer is no. Pelicans Twitter is pretty sensitive. The people I follow have shared that the stats show that AD is just as good with DeMarcus. He just plays more minutes now. Those minutes are not sustainable through 82 games. This team is NOT better without Cousins. The advanced stats (too lazy to look em up) bear that out. AD has said many times he does not want to play the 5 and bang with the 5's of the league all season long.

The Celtics played without 3 of their 4 best players tonight. Now I see why Ainge outright refused any trades that included Rozier.

He and Quin Snyder are neck-&-neck. I gotta give Al Horford credit...I didn't think he deserved to be an all-star. He's proving he can lead a team.

Horford is a very complete player. Hes just not flashy. He doesnt score 35 a night or get 15 rebounds but hes a complste player who at any given time can make up for a deficiency. Ive always been a fan of his game.

  39. CaribPhin

    CaribPhin Guest

He is that team honestly. His passing, spacing, shooting, and defensive versatility are probably about as important as Brad Stevens. GSW used to rely heavily on Draymond to do a bit of everything, but by adding KD and the auxiliary players, he's less necessary. If Boston had lost Horford and kept Hayward, they wouldn't be as good. Their offense would be stronger, but Horford is just so dynamic on both sides of the ball.
