    Man.

You mean to tell me that no coaches in this league can take what Simmie Cobbs was born with and develop it?

Insanity. That dude has special ability

Situational back that can develop into a passing threat and get some additional yardage after the catch. Fills a need

Pretty solid Draft so far but I’m concerned we haven’t addressed the DLINE and Linebackers. These are our biggest weaknesses IMHO. We’re going to get gashed for 5-7 ypc if we do t fill in with someone via trade or free agency!

I'm kinda miffed we spent 2 picks on TE when Herndon was there in the 4th. He blocks and catches, wtf? May just be the homer in me talking, I'll admit I know jack about any of these other college players.

Ballage is not a leg-driver, which is okay in a ZBS, but limits him overall as a tailback. He's catches the ball well and has a nice floor pass-protection wise, relatively speaking. He's fast and bursty when the hole is obvious (he misses these too, egregiously sometimes), but overall looks pretty impatient waiting for creases or following his blockers. He has very nice balance and can be elusive, but runs a little too upright.

Learning to follow his blockers and grind out the 2-3 yard runs will benefit him the most in the NFL. This is where a good position coach will help.

This is all just my opinion. He can be a solid 2-punch in a tailback rotation, which he will be next year.

Hey, our pick is coming up! Damn this is a WAIT! Anyone else surprised we have neither moved up or down?

Not saying he will figure it out, but I think he said he has had a bunch of coaches over the years. Maybe now that this is his job, he will have the time to put it all together with some solid teaching from our RB coach and Gore. Sometimes a guy needs some extra help and now he has a ton of resources at his disposal. He can build on where he is now if he is willing to put in the work.

No doubt. Like I said, I was a fan of the pick. He's fast up the field and useful immediately in the passing game. Up to him whether he wants to develop every-down discipline running it.

Logan Woodside is the best Qb left. He left an impression on me during the QB skills competition a couple months ago. His accuracy was only 2nd to Josh Rosen in the target accuracy contest.

    Take him at pick #209.

Dt treatment tells me that they are super high on the LSU kid from last year. I get it but I think they should hedge their bets

DB depth is never bad. Always got special team potential, and with all the nickel and dime, can never have enough.

I do wonder if they just ran out of DT targets.

Well hasnt that been the mantra the last few years here, yiu can never have enough cornerbacks. I guess this pick makes alot of sense then but i know nothing about him.

On another note, clearly unless one fell in their lap, they are not thinking QB this year.

Funny he said he models his game after Brent Grimes... as soon as I saw his highlight video I thought of Grimes.

There is more to the story. We signed him (Amendola) for his knowledge and what he can teach our young guys, too.

Didn't you hear? He doesn't have vision and he doesn't hit the hole and he can't accelerate. Nothing to see here! ;-)
