Since this statement was made in January, the Rockets have gone like 27-2, lmao. Been laughing all season.
I still remember these excellent posts before the season....bwahahaha Been laughing and trolling all season.
Ok, well the regular season is not what matters. I’ll concede you’re better then OKC and possibly SAS if Kawhi doesn’t come back. I don’t think you’ll beat GSW if Curry is healthy enough to go, though I’d like for that to happen.
My point still stands. Ask Toronto what winning the regular season means. CP3 and Harden are two perennial playoff bums. With their powers combined they will wilt even more efficiently than usual .
I'll just leave this here... Harden's postseason stats as a Rocket: 27ppg, 7 assists, 6 rebs, and 2 steals. Paul's postseason stats as a Clipper: 21ppg, 9 assists, 5 rebs, and 2 steals. Yep, these 2 are definitely bums in the postseason. Any scrub can do it, so I expect to see a Heat player average that for this postseason. Am I right???
Rockets last 20 years playoff history: 1 conference finals appearance. Gentleman's sweep by Warriors.
By the way, aesop.... Which Heat player is going to average those numbers this postseason? You did say those were bum stats, so which bum on Miami is going to average that this postseason? It should be pretty easy, right?
Rockets are perhaps most recently known for a player who embodies their rich tradition of playoff blunders. A player who was great during the regular season but choked every year come playoff time. Tracy "I tried" McGrady.
You're hung up on individual stats and not the sum of what they amount to. The Heat as currently constructed do not play like that. The stats are spread. Once again, are you really using the Heat as your bar for rating the current Rockets roster? I guess my bar would be pretty low too if I were a Houston fan.
Hell, I still don't think I got those answers from 3-4 weeks ago. Sad. Where is the other Heat fan I used to debate with when I first came here? He actually knew his s##t.
To give context to that first comment, I felt that Houston overpaid in a trade for a guy who already told his team he was leaving, not that getting Paul was a bad thing. And sure, I overrated Minnesota. That doesn't mean you won anything. At least you can hang one of these up:
Fast forward to 2018 and Houston, with the best record in the NBA, is 17th in average nightly attendance and 12th in percentage of capacity filled. Miami is 6th and 3rd in those categories.
I have never seen so much boasting about a team that hasn't been relevant since the Knicks were in the Finals. Talk about being a homer my god...no one cares about numbers man. no one. harden and paul would trade their numbers for WINNING when it matters most.
Dont really care about this loss at all, but the knicks definitely should be tanking these last games.
HEAT currently 6th, matched up with PHI at 3. I doubt it stays that way though, given our tough schedule and Milwaukee's easier one. I think we'll end up playing Boston (in the 7 vs 2) after this shakes out. That would be awesome. Wait, damn, since we lost last night we can still fall to 8, which would mean Toronto.
The two top teams in the East IMO are the Sixers and the Cavs, and i say theyre very beatable. The raps and the celtics dont concern me. Sixers would mop the floor with them fools.
The Thunder claps too loud for the Fraudkets! Garden wilts as the postseason approaches! A sign of things to come!
GOATbrook showing again why he is the reigning MVP. Dude shoots <40% and still wills his squad to the W on the road. Truly an MVP performance.
Sixers will beat the Heat.... Sixers are on a wicked win streak without Embiid and Simmons is taking more steps in his development. I just don’t see the Heat beating them at all. Especially when we are dropping games to the NYK. Heat have no chance at winning that series.
I'm a reasonable man. If they beat the Warriors I will give them respect. All I'm saying is there's a trend.
