I am looking at a few players that could be there in the second/third round if we pick a QB in the first or trade back. There are some solid players...I liked both of these guys in the limited action I saw them. LC was a beast against ND. McInstosh looks quick and was often in the backfield.

Carter is intriguing as a sam backer for us. 6''6 250lbs and runs a sub 4.5 forty. Could match him up against TE in coverage and he is also a pretty good pass rusher.

Carter’s destined to be overdrafted due to athlete.

    Pass

Too much projection as an off the los lb not a 43 de

Love the athlete don’t love the pro projection in terms of position fit scheme wise

Agree he seems to be more effective as a 4-3 de right now but he has the skill set to play off the los as a linebacker as well. Very versatile skill set which can be developed I think it would be a good pick in the 3rd or 4th rd.

I thought you meant pick 42 which is where I think that athlete may get him drafted.

Frankly that athletes top 25 worthy but what is he in the pros? I can’t burn a top 50 pick on a highly projection based fit

I like Carter a lot for a later round pick. He's in my mock.

I will be surprised if he gets out of day 2 cause that level athletes someone usually buys in on

McIntosh would be a great round 3 pickup
