Cutler did not play well. It cost the team 11 million in salary cap. Could have ended up in same place with Moore starting.
Ya but you know Gase the QB guru knew his man was the fit for he had seasons of experience with the Cutler...Gave Gase the benefit of doubt thinking his QB wisdom and knowledge of Cutler....Big Mistake...lol Gee it wouldn't have made any difference with a Moore or even a Fales for that matter and the 11 mil. just wasted some wheres else by these learning on the job pro's....
Except they wouldn't have done. Moore wouldn't have lasted the whole season and then you'd have had TJ Yates and David Fales at the helm. How you can blame the coach for trying to do better with a guy patently better than what we had is beyond me. They wanted a run at the playoffs and Cutler gave them the best chance at that. It's not even a discussion.
This is why it is so important for people to consider "reasoning" along with "result" when grading a decision.

Negates nothing of what Boom said at all. As for first round picks, you wonder how confident they are at DT if Vea is available now I would think. A penetrating DT is a great thing to have. Fletcher Cox says what?
Well, it was better than doing nothing. But if that's what you want, then let's raise the old white flag BEFORE the season and not bother giving it a go. I'm sure you guys would be thrilled with that.
