Yay! I needed a hype video over something! Thanks Pandarilla! Excellent as always. One thing about Landry that's obvious- he might have the best vision in the entire NFL, plus he has elite hands and elite quickness. If we could only strap a rocket pack on him to get a little more speed, he'd be the best receiver in the league by a country mile.
Yes let him walk. I could go on a long rant but I don't think he wants to be here anymore.Let's see how it pans out for him on another team.
Here's something I found very interesting that @cbrad uncovered. https://www.thephins.com/threads/th...ates-and-discussion.92549/page-6#post-3036328
I agree, and I think he's a goner because we should've done this contract like 2 years ago. I think with the addition of Grant he could be used a lot less and we'll end up feeling gyped for giving him all that money. It just sucks is all...Felt good to make people think twice while making that video.
That's the thing- I think we all want Landry in Miami, including the coaches and our players. Two different head coaches have said that he's the hardest worker in the building and does everything that's asked of him, so the guy definitely deserves a payday. Nobody doubts on any of that. It all just comes down to money and what we can afford.
Do we know they didn't try to do the contract two years ago? Everyone says that like we didn't try, and I am just wondering if the guy didn't always think he was worth big dollars, and just rejected any and all offers.
I personally thought they were secretly biding their time to see if Parker was going to merit a monster contract.
Could be, difficult to know for sure...in a few weeks, that might be what we are hoping for because he is gone.
The Ravens are already reaching out (well before the clock starts, BTW) through players and local restaurant sponsors!?! It looks like if Jarvis brings his talents to Baltimore, he will have a paycheck and all you can eat at Jimmy's Seafood. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2...afood-preparing-sales-pitch-for-jarvis-landry In other news, the Dolphins can hit Landry with the franchise tag tomorrow at the tune of around $16.325 million. That gives them another year to think about contract money and see where Tannehill is- I think that's the smartest move at this point since that's what Landry wants to be paid anyway. So make him a 1-year rental at that price and see if he earns it or not.
I had him up to 13 a year for 5, if that’s not good enough than I hope to get a higher pick than when I drafted him.
