Speaking of laughing, funny how he supposedly couldn't study the playbook and get his run reads right, but somehow, miraculously, was able to walk into Philly mid-season, pick right up on their playbook, and perform.

Ya'll are still salty about Ajayi??

After watching Drake it is evident to me that we upgraded the position and gained a draft pick.

****, I'm still salty about letting Lamar Miller walk. It's as if the Dolphins think it's against the rules to carry more than one good RB at a time.

    It's the salary cap era.

Our likely starting back can run, catch and block. He also is only a $900ishk cap hit.

Lamar Miller wanted a payday, letting him go and replenishing with cheaper (and some better) options is one of the few things this FO has done well.

Today SUCKED! The Jaguars dominated NE and as usual, some highly questionable play calls allowed them to score with ease in the closing moments. The story of the game- 1 penalty for 10 yards against NE, even though #55 was getting penetration for Jax and held from behind every freaking play. I mean, I counted four times the guy had a clear shot at Brady but his one arm was extended straight backwards as the NE tackle held on for dear life....not a single holding call. And don't even get me started on pass interference.

I wasn't rooting for anyone in the Minn/Philly game except maybe for Minne to be the first team ever with home field advantage in the playoffs- that's got to really suck returning home only to have the Super Bowl showing up there in two weeks anyway.

Ajayi did have a pretty good game (I didn't watch the most of the 4th quarter in case I missed something bad) but he was being coached at the line on most snaps. His talent is undeniable and it stinks he didn't work out in Miami- but somehow our rushing yards instantly improved once he was out of the equation.

    Some perspective on the penalties:

    You spelled defense wrong.

I understand that Brady played well, but so did Bortles. And if not for the phantom PI call to end the half we'd be talking about how great Bortles played.

QB's aren't a football team. Brady carried the Pats as much as Bortles carried the Jags.

This was a defensive battle and the Pats defense (and refs) won this game.

The Pats had ZERO penalties on offense and defense. The only penalty called on them was a raping at mid-field during a kickoff.

    Total BS.

Zero penalties. It was beyond pathetic the way the officials handled this game.

Its beyond frustrating how obvious it is that the refs continue to play a huge part in the outcome of games involving the Patriots. Its the same script over and over and over...The other team is winning and playing a solid game and then the refs take over and make a back breaking/momentum changing call and allow the Pats to get an unfair edge. One penalty called against them...what a joke. Its no longer frustrating its sickening.

Maybe I am not getting it. So it was not enough Gase wanted to trade Ajayi off the team, He HAD to trade him to a bad team? He was traded outside of the division, outside of the conference, who gives a rat's a** where he went and if he is in a SB. Not liking the trade and value is one thing..where he got traded is a bit juvenile no? Who actually cares?

I'm rooting for Philly because of Ajayi. Why wouldn't any Dolphin fan? Hoping a player fails because he's no longer in Miami is childish in my opinion.

Key, I am in no way rooting against him..I really don't care one way or the other. My problem is with the idea that trading him to a good team vs a bad is sort of a black eye for us. I really don't see it at all

I agree completely- if it wasn't to NY, Buffalo or the Cheats, it really doesn't matter.

I don't care which team gase traded him to. What I'm saying is that Ajayi has the last laugh cause he got traded from a **** team and now he's in the super bowl. Gase did him a favor. Of course Gase will now turn the very late 4th round pick he got for him in to a perennial pro bowler, I'm sure

Foles/Playcalling/Defense won that ball game for em yesterday and last week. I feel like they would of won all these ball games without Ajayi. I don’t think Philly fully trust Ajayi or Blount. Drake is the better RB. I had a hard time with the trade at first too but it’s clear Ajayi was a little overrated and Drake is the better RB. I told my friend (Eagles fan as I live in the area) yesterday while watching the game “Clement will be the starting RB for Philly next year”.... He agreed

Good for Ajayi, just does not move the needle much for me that he made the SB

Ajayi should be happy in regards of going from a non-playoff team to a SB team (like everybody would be happy in his situation). However, he IS NOT even close to being the reason they made it. And his role has lessened in Philly but with his size ego, I’m sure he thinks he’s the reason they made it to the SB. Lol He was laying on the field crying last night as if he’s Barry Sanders and finally made it to a SB after a hard working 10+ year career. That was a joke to me. He hopped on the team midway through the season and Philly was already handily on top of the NFC, the players that been there all year should of been the ones crying, imo but to each their own and again, it’s no surprise considering Ajayi’s ego.
