2016 TD Scoring drives by NE Game 1. 8 plays, 7 plays, 12 plays, 5 plays Game 2. 13 plays, 5 plays, 3 plays, 6 plays 2017 Game 1 8 plays, 9 plays, 9 plays, 7 plays, 5 plays What I can't decipher from this is how many 3rd down conversions there were by the Pats (and average to go on 3rd on those drives). To me this is where I evaluate Gase and Burke. I assume that there were quite a few 3rd down conversions. What went wrong? Is it zone and no pressure? Is it a blitz pick up? This is where the game will come down to tonight.
shocking stat: Miami under Gase is 12-6 against teams with losing records and 3-8 vs teams with winning records
Well.. I think Armando miscounted. In 2016 we lost to Seattle, NE twice, Pit and Tennessee among winning teams, winning only against Pit. In 2017 we lost to NO, Carolina, Balt and NE, beating Tennessee and Atlanta among winning teams. So it's really 3-9 against winning teams. But then where do you put Baltimore in 2016? Are they "winning" or "losing" because they ended 8-8. So it's really 3-9 against winning teams, 0-1 against 8-8 teams, and 12-4 against losing teams.
I think Miami has literally a 1.1% chance of making the playoffs I think Baltimore needs to lose out but they play the colts cincy and Cleveland, and the chargers need to lose 2 of 3 against the chiefs jets and raiders. if we lose tonight its all but squashed I think.
You have a source for that? Either way Armando is wrong. btw not sure what's "official" but it doesn't make much sense to me to consider .500 a "winning" season.
ok a non losing record then, makes no sense I guess if its a non losing record wouldn't it be a winning record 8-8 and 7-9 have a huge difference so however "you" classify it is fine.
I don't think he's classifying it as a losing record either. I don't think anyone if classifying .500 as a losing record. It's a .500 record. Winning Record > .500 .500 record =.500 Losing Record < .500 (Edit*: I read your post wrong... I just skimmed it while at work...disregard)
Just saw tankersley listed as inactive tonight. Does that put Bobby McCain on the outside and bet her in the middle? You think we'll bring Michael Thomas in some?
Even if Drake doesn't slip there, that play is a big loss because Larsen whiffed bigtime it looked like.
Landry lining up at RB, swing pass from Cutler. Nice start here by Gase to get the ball in the hands of his playmakers. He scripts his starts well, but seems to get lost after a drive or two. Got to fix that.
It was a good start. Their secondary is excellent. It' going to be tougher scoring tds inside the 20 then from outside the 20
Still a good drive and cutler made the right play throwing it away, he could have tried to force it a bit and lead his receiver down the left middle but it wouldve been a ridiculous throw and catch
