i was asking if any coordinator went from winning a super bowl to coordinating a different team to a Superbowl. I know that no head coach has won a superbowl with two different teams but didnt find the coordinator info with a basic internet search.. I did find that 6 coaches in the super bowl era have been two superbowls with 2 teams but never won both. Shula is the only guy to loose with the first team and win with the second from what I read.

Ugh... why are you such a jerk to everyone that disagrees with you, simply because you can't carry your end of the conversation? You're literally arguing with someone here who knows more about defense than you, or most of us here ever will, and you've got the nerve to be that disrespectful while not making a coherent point yourself?

I cant for the life of me understand why this type of posting is considered acceptable. And to think I gave you the benefit of the doubt and unblocked you agian. I guess that's my fault.

lol, you have no idea who you're talking to when you act like that.

Ronin knows more about NFL defense than you know about your own life.

Rex Ryan doesn't need to be fired, or are you giving up on that notion?

no. I want a guy like that. But, someone did mention Bowles being fired, and that maybe more intriguing.

Why would he be more intriguing? Does he have more football in his DNA or something?

He is a Defensive guy. Yes it's in his dna. I see you really like that quote.
Intriguing wasn't the word, but based on Gase, better fit. I don't see Gase hiring a grizzled veteran coach to look over his shoulders. Tonight we'll see if Burke keeps his job

"no. I want a guy like that. But, someone did mention Bowles being fired, and that maybe more intriguing." - you, post 49

Intriguing damn sure was the word. Why is Bowles more intriguing than Rex Ryan to you?

No, you didn't. You said he's a "better fit". Why is he a better fit in your mind? It damn sure isn't because of Miami's personnel, I'll give you that one for free. Why is Bowles a better fit with Gase than Rex Ryan?

I based my answer in the post above on what I thought Gase would do. That's what you want, right? Learn to read, or have someone read it to you, and then come back

You're out of your element here I see.

What I was asking, since you clearly didn't comprehend my post, are examples of why Todd Bowles is a better fit than Rex Ryan? Not what you thought Adam Gase would do. Is it blitz packages, mixed coverages, shifting fronts, etc.? What players do we have that maximize a Todd Bowles defense?

go look at game 2 this year. according to your logic, we should be hiring Bowles in a heartbeat. After all, he laid the foundation for this team to struggle on offense up until recently

Are you trying to be this dense? I submitted the names of Paul Guenther and Adam Zimmer, not Todd Bowles. Todd Bowles was your name. If you can't even tell me why he's a better fit for Miami than Rex Ryan (your other guy)...why keep going? You're CLEARLY out of your depth here.

and you are clearly enjoying the struggle of this defense for the past 4 seasons. More Coordinators? Listen the tree logic just doesn't work for us. I heard the same thing about Coyle, VJ and Burke. You can try to impress me on the Zimmer tree, but it's Zimmer who gets the credit, not these scrubs. The fact of the matter remains, Gase needs a DC and an OC that has HC experience. In the Rams game yesterday, the commentators cemented the fact that McVay wanted to focus on the offense, and as a young coach, has let Wade just coach the defense and take that away from him. Gase is way too involved and he is over his head. He has these inexperienced coaches as DC and OC, and it's a hot mess. Want proof, look at the stats.

So, by this, you're conceding you can't answer my question. I thought so.

Also, FWIW, Wade Phillips' defense was GASHED yesterday. The logic of having a DC with HC experience doesn't stand up the way you want it to.

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

    Paul Guenther
DC of Cincy. 32 against the run, 9th against the pass (probably because run defense is bad), 19th overall. HIRE HIM!

Adam Zimmer, aside from a DUI, he is a LB coach for MN. Um, last I checked that's the easiest job when you have to coach Barr and kendricks, great first rd picks. looks like daddy gave him an easy job

Look at the defense as a whole since he's taken over in Cincinnati. Right now he's 13th in points allowed despite the run defense being that bad. Look at how many players they have that are injured; that's why their run defense is that bad. Look at that same defense in Minnesota. Tell me how it's doing.

    Try again.

speaking of gash. Chic Bears had 482 yards of offense against the Bungles . Going into that game, Chic was 30th in offense in the league.

Why do you think guys like Barr and Kendricks are in positions to succeed when they play? Who teaches them the defense?

Nah, bro. I won. Paul Guenther's defense is 13th in points allowed. Your boy Todd Bowles' defense is 21st.

MN got GASHED for 216 yards rushing. Stewart was in the 2nd level and those LB's that Adam Zimmer coaches couldn't do a thing about it. Cam had a 62 yard run, Stewart had a 60.

I explained why yesterday why I'd give him a chance. You've yet to explain why Rex Ryan or Todd Bowles should be given a chance other than that they have defense in their DNA. I win again.

And that proves what? I just told you that Wade Phillips, who checks off both those boxes, just had his defense gashed yesterday. This is getting pretty embarrassing for you.

    Ravens 20
    Bills 20
    Jags 23
    Titans 24

24 points a game. Even worse
