We all have a right to complain, its been a very difficult season. People actually join Dolphin forums for intelligent discussions and info. Getting a rant off your chest is acceptable, having that rant in every discussion is not. I think you need to read what Boik wrote again and look at it honestly. Trust me, what he wrote is 100% spot on. Either you enjoy the major pushback you get or you are oblivious to it. And it seriously is not one guy complaining about it. There are people here who can see your passion but it gets overlooked by your constant, and I mean constant negativity. And this is not about being a homer or seeing things through rose colored glasses, its about backing your complaints with substance....all anybody can ask. And it can be done without using the words suck or fired numerous times in almost every post. We are all Dolphin fans, we all see how bad things have gotten to this year. Is that a reason to alienate other phin fans or cause others to stay away with this constant narrative? Because like Boik wrote, it has, and it seems like it will not stop

I see your point and appreciate you writing it in the manner you did. When the good conversations start (I've seen many a good thread on here), I'll join in. It might be shocking to learn that I'm not a very negative person but years of waiting for the Phins to improve has damaged my positivity. I know, who cares right? Just sharing some context. I like this site but it seems people are better at complaining about my threads then they are starting their own. In large part lately, if it weren't for the threads Dirty and I start there would rarely be a new thread on most days. So I challenge you and everyone else to bring the heat. Start some threads that you would like to see as opposed to complaining about ours. Meanwhile, we'll try to get a handle on our negativity.

I appreciate the reply also Ricky. Fair point about me and others starting threads, duly noted. I have a feeling you will see others make a concerted effort to do the same. All other posters seem to be asking of you is more substance about your thoughts. Does not mean others will agree, but it will be civil and informative. My guess is that when that tone is set, others will feel the need to start other threads and be more involved in them. Because as of now, many feel that its a bit too toxic to join in the conversation

It will be interesting if the Phins go against conventional wisdom this offseason. They haven't had a season where they have dumped salaries, gotten a veteran qb, or drafted one. I think most of the posts reflect how the heartbeat of the team is, just middle of the road, don't expect anything grand or flashy, and keep the same players over and over hoping to ignite a fire.

But that's not really context- we were one of the hottest teams in the league last year and we expected even more this season until our franchise QB went down. You don't have to look back too far to see a Colts team that was 15-1 under Manning, and then 1-15 with him injured. That's how big it is to lose the guy you've planned your entire offense around.

Nobody here is happy we're losing, but starting 50 different conversations per month on who our next coach, coordinator, QB, RB, etc. will be is not making things any better. Ross is not firing Gase and Gase is not trading/benching Tannehill- there is ZERO CHANCE of that happening. But every single day, we have 3-5 more threads started by you or Dirty talking about how this is the worst team ever.

The part that personally offends me is that none of those 50 monthly threads have any stats, plays, references or context- we just hear stuff like "Wake sucks and needs to be fired." And when others take the time to grab photos/video, pull stats, reference specific plays, etc, you guys just bash them and make it personal....only to give up and start another thread about basically the same thing.

Why on Earth would you be mad at folks who are talking about how your team could play better? Why would you be mad if some see positives in this team despite the horrific season? Most importantly, why would you turn on your brothers here because they still have faith in our team and show support? I can't understand that at all.

Cutler isn't a veteran QB? We haven't let any veteran salaries go? We didn't draft Fales and Doughty? You're flat out making things up over and over and over again to meet some type of agenda.

Most of the posts are made by you, but they certainly do not reflect the feelings of the overall forum. Or maybe you haven't noticed where about 3 people agree with you and you're arguing constantly with the other 100+. Of all the posters here, you're definitely not the one to summarize how the average Dolphin fans feels about this season.
