So if the team wins games and gets to 8-8 then they still suck and everyone should still be fired? I cannot be the only person seeing how effing stupid this becoming?
I'm not saying or implying they will. The theory put forward by yourself and the others was that if they did manage to get to 8-8 they should still be fired. Learn to read.
If we get to 8-8 he will be safe however going 4-12 or 5-11 the talks will start and I agree with it.
I'm delusional for hoping my team wins a few more games? Think about that for a moment and maybe you'll realize why some folks here have disagreed with so much you lately.
Dude, don't even pretend to allude to me not reading when you are the king of cherry picking post snippets out of context. Read my posts. I have said that 6-10 or south of it. Never said 8-8. Though I have stated that us winning some games that will impact our draft pick here at the end when we're out of it is not preferable.
Good idea....base all decisions on the team's worst 5 week stretch and ignore everything else. But even if you do that, a large part of your rant list there is still BS.
Jesus. You said: "8-8 accomplishes nothing besides keeping all the idiots who clearly need to go here for another year." Now I get rational thought is your kryptonite, but that means EVEN if they got to 8-8 you still think they are terrible and should be fired. That means, there is no actually getting you to be reasonable about any of this.
But there is a reasonable solution- it's called the "block" button. It's amazing.....you click it twice and literally half the site's spam content disappears!
with how ****ty all teams are this year a playoff birth would have been ok, we could limp in with a 8-8 record possibly lol but to SH!T the bed worse than everyone else is embarrassing.
Id love to see us win Sunday and go on a run....can it happen? Its probably not very likely, but why not? I think we beat Denver Sunday, setting up a MNF matchup with NE. That's the hinge game if we were going to run the season from here out. That MNF game is the kind of game that change a season in one freakin night. As far as this garbage about wishing for losses... meh. Why? We arent drafting a QB in round 1.
what for we have like a 1% chance of making the playoffs we need the sun not to come out for 2 days we need alien life to show themselves, and we need Apollo creed to come back and beat IVAN DRAGAAAAAHHHH!!! so who cares if we win? we have to win out which wont happen the pats will smash us because them and pitt will be playing for 1st seed.
That's an illusion, my friend. Even in recent games where we had almost zero QB hits, we still heard the same narrative. But I thought that too. =)
So? Everybody knows chances are slim...doesn't change the fact some fans still hope that 1 percent chance happens. Nobody is gonna jump off a building if it doesn't happen ...but it sure does seem to bother some of you that there's a portion of the fans who want to see the team win.
I want the team to win, I'm tired of mediocrity and if we lose get a high draft pick and whatever pick we take helps us to a playoff win next year than im all for that. but going 8-8 missing the playoffs and or going 9-7 and losing in the first round of playoffs is just not acceptable to me and shouldn't be for any fans, when the patriots are tearing us and the nfl apart for 15 years.
