That's kind of the underlying problem though - if he's hoping on talent covering up for a possible lack of coaching.
The spark was clearly missing today. The sooner everyone can write Moore off as JAG, the better everyone here will be. I mean, again, he's a backup for a reason. Not because he wasn't given fair chances, blah blah blah, but because he's just, not that good. He's not bad. He's just... a guy that's going to play ok, make some brilliant plays, make some brutal plays, and eventually he's going to get on a streak where you may get a bunch of good, and it's just as likely it will be a bunch of bad as well.
Matt Moore... wow. I know the line is bad but he looks like a 90 year-old man trying to see defenders and run as opposed to just getting rid of the ball. All ****ing day.
Well, that works both ways though. You've got to have talent to work with, and talent that's willing to work. Said it before, will say it again, I personally don't believe we have enough actual football players on this team. With the mentality to want to be great. I feel alot of that comes from the environment being in Miami brings. They need to do a better job finding guys who love to play the game. You get a guy like Timmons for example. That dude loves to ball. He clearly loves his extracurriculars as well, but he comes to play, and play well week in, week out. We don't have enough guys like that. Too many guys just here for the ride through town and enjoying life. Sure you can blame a coach for that, but we're talking decades worth of attitude to change. I don't know, I just don't see alot of guys who really care on this team, and it's been that way for a long time, no matter who the coach is. That being said, the talent is lacking here, we made chicken salad from chicken **** last year with an easy schedule, and the winning is contagious attitude that gives momentum and buy in, but in return for that playoff spot, you get a much tougher schedule and you're right back where you should have started, the uphill climb of changing culture, and finding the right players do do what they want to do.
Matt Moore stinks today. So does Parker. However, no need for PArker to have to stop and wait for it. Ugly throw into double coverage.
Might as well, a couple more wins this season won't really help the team long term. I think we see BOTH Cutler and Moore retire at the end of the season, so we will be in the market for a backup QB. Why not give Fales some real experience and see if he shows enough to at least be the #2 QB?
I pretty much expect 6-10 every year even when we have good records like last year. The concerning thing is I don’t see a roster that is one year away.
There are patriot fans and some media accusing Wake of trying to purposely tear Brady's knee saying he swung his leg in a kicking motion
