What music surpasses time for you.

Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffet are some of mine

Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix for me. I'll be crucified for this, but I never liked the Beatles or Bob Marley. Not to say they weren't great because obviously they were. I tried, but could never get into them.

I was never greatly into the Beatles either until I saw the movie Across the Universe

agree with you on zep and jimi... you are right in that you will get crucified for not liking either the beatles or bob. with the beatles, i think they produced so much music w/ many different sounds that you should be able to find something that you enjoy from them.

Although Jimi is a legend,I never liked him too much.Besides the classics, too much squeelin' and squalkin' for me.
Beleive it or not,I do have a couple of his "original" albums still. They were given to me by my cousins a long time ago.

Agreed except for Elton John and Billy Joel.
    I never really liked them.

Bob Marley is OK in small doses, like when you're fishing or on the beach, or lighting up a fatty(or fishing off the beach while lighting a fatty)

    I agree as well...

I'd like to add Ozzy Osbourne in general...

Also I'd include The Monkee's and Creedence Clearwater Revival...

    there are more of course...
