Here's the link. I would say have everyone you know go on here and tell them to fire Gase. Can't deal with this for another season. https://www.facebook.com/MiamiDolphins
Yeah, no. It's his second season! If you're going to call for anyone's head try Ross or Tanennbaum. I mean, I wouldn't, personally, but at least that would make some sort of sense.
I'm certainly not on the "fire Gase" bandwagon but even if I was, trolling some intern on Facebook is not the way to deliver a message. Do you really think Ross, Tannenbaum or a team executive have ever been on the team's Facebook page?
And how's that working out Dan904? Has Ross been in contact with you yet? I'd say "welcome to the forums" but I have a feeling you've been here for awhile now on various accounts. At least have the balls to post from your main account instead of all these troll ones.
Gase stays, thats not to say I'm not totally frustrated like everyone else, but he deserves a chance with a healthy Tannehill before I feel otherwise.
This is my only account. Just because you don’t agree with me on firing Gase mean that I am a troll. What decision has Gase made this year that turned oht to be a good decision? Cutler, Thomas, Ajayi or the play calling? Take way the one big run from Williams and we averaged what....1 yard per carry. This team is horrible.
Final say on 53. If you build a team with a certain philosophy in mind, the playcalling should follow.
I disagree. He has no business determining personnel. There are personnel guys now that are way better than him without a job. what made him be able to be a pseudo GM? he wants to coach, be gm and call plays? no wonder this team is not prepared, he is not delegating. how does he stay up to do all this? who is his coke dealer now that Foerster is gone?
I agree, but I think Gase has some assistants to fire. 17 penalties is too many especially this time of year.
I don't know why these people desire the coaching turnstile to start spinning faster these days. If anything, it will deter future coaching talent with other options from coming here. I'm glad Ross isn't half as fickle as some of these fans on this site.
I didn’t know you meant the question that way. I thought you were asking which power I’d rather have, not Gase.
We’ll see how things shake out. Also, idk why you’re making fun of rednecks when I don’t know any and everybody I know is Hispanic and doesn’t want politics in sports.
I admit I have no idea if Gase is a quality headcoach or not. Because the real problem with this team is the overall lack of talent throughout the roster. I seriously doubt there is any head coach in the league, including Belichick could do much with this roster. To me the real issue is Tannebaum and his total inability in providing Gase with the type of talent needed to compete with the better teams in the NFL. Right now they are having trouble competing with the bad teams in the NFL. So as long as Tannebaum remains in his position with the Dolphins, it doesn’t matter who the headcoach is. Because as long as he remains as Head Of Football Operations, this team will have nothing but the most overpaid roster in the league, filled with mediocre or worse players.
He won't get fired this season. The best (or worst) thing about the NFL is that there are no penalties for failing, if fact it can be better (?????). The money still rolls in no matter what. If the leagues operated like the football (soccer) in Europe, ooooo owners would be much quicker to remove failing coaches. They aren't, never will be, hence the fans frustration.
Lack of talent? I thought we were going to storm the NFL with the players we had in the squad this season? After watching the highlights of the Bucks game I thought the mess was all down to the players not being able to catch a ball. Are they just girls in Dolphins gear and that's the problem? And yes I'd say it to their faces! Right in their faces!
What? So Tannenbaum is responsible for the players he gets having all the penalties? Why are only a few of us not looking through the Dolphins colored lens and see that Gase is in way over his head. He cannot field a team that doesn't have some form of play or focus breakdown on each play. Every play either someone runs the wrong one or jumps offsides or has some dumb lack of focus issue. I'm no T-bum fan but Gase should be responsible for the team on the field playing like crap. Why isn't he? Why is everyone so ready to cross their fingers and give him another shot next year? Don't you want to see us win eventually? Don't you want the mediocre we're lucky if we win carousel to stop? I mean I flat out don't get it. There seems to be absolutely no sense of urgency among most of you to do what we need to do to win next year. Sure, I know that a new coach might not be the answer to winning right away but we know what we have with Gase and he's trash. Look at the press conferences alone. He's in way over his head and the wheels are coming off.
Nothing. We're just fans. You have ZERO control over the future of Gase. You can say I'm not going to buy a ticket, OK... great, but unless you're a season ticket holder, that has no impact either, and one of you not buying, has no impact either. So, rather than sounding like a fool, and wasting money to start a stupid website, or fly a banner like the Ireland guys did... just... stop. Nothing you can do is going to change it, and it's really painful to have to read it in every thread. Bottom line is, you, me, that guy over there in the corner of thephins.com... we have no options to explore regarding Adam Gase. We're just fans.
We're just fans. How pathetic a thought that is. Without us there is no team. I get what you're saying and should probably confine my complaining to a couple threads. Hard to do though when the only feelings I have about the phins besides my pride in their history is the current misery that is the team I and we all love. Wish I could just whack the FFWD button until we don't stink.
Firing Gase right now would be a huge mistake and would set this franchise back years. Also, they'd be worse off than they are now. All signs point to Gase having what it takes. Will he get there is season 2? Doesn't look like it. But do I need to remind some of you that it took Belichick 5+ years. And that's with cheating and Ernie Adams under his arm.
Despite being frustrated in Gase's current offensive game calling, I do think he needs at least one more season, possibly 2 with what we're working with now talent-wise. It does seem like there's got to be something he could do to get the players more focused on game day. Simplification of the offense is not really an acceptable answer in my opinion when many of these players are supposedly proven talents. I think chances are good Gase will be a winning coach at some point. But will it be with the Dolphins? Like all our other best talents, will we send him packing to go win somewhere else? Is Dan Campbell ready to come back? Sheet he probly wants to stear clear from this imploding cesspool. Gase probly wants out too.
I would recommend paying me $1000 and I will put a voodoo curse on Gase. That would be as effective as ANYTHING you can do.
What really sucks about Tannehill being injured is that his dead cap money drops dramatically next season, so we really could’ve used this one to evaluate him and Gase since their fates could be tied together.
There is always alcohol. You can stop drinking when Miami starts winning. Alcohol is life's FFWD button.
Agreed. It's part of the curse. All QBs will never be honestly evaluated regardless of how fair you try to be. And this will apparently go for any coaches as well. We are on the football God's shet list.
