when parker got hurt during the TN game, does anyone know if it was on the one, short catch he made across the middle? If so, and I have noticed a trend with him most of the time than not, is the fact they use Parker wrong. Not only from an alpha perspective, but injury prone one too. Miami has to realize he is glass. Avoid the drag routes and even the 50/50 balls, where he has to get physical. He needs to be one on one with space.

You may have something to talk about there with the drag routes or any shallow crosses you might want to limit, but if you take away the 50/50 balls, you may as well put the next best guy out there. That's kind of his game IMO.

He was hurt on that short catch, yes. What hurt him was the Titans MLB running full speed from 20 yards away and crushing him. The player read the play perfectly, made his break at just the right time, and as DeVante was trying to avoid two other defenders, this guy smashes into him and takes him out.

Blaming Parker for being tackled hard is.....confusing, but its something thats become commonplace among Miami fans i guess.

What I did notice is that he could have played against Baltimore but knew it was going to be a physical game so they held him out! Wtf kind of weak mentality is being installed in Miami. The Ravens suck and your scare to play them! Smh I’m pretty much going to root against them from here on out. I want changes and this team and staff sucks balls. Nothing is gained from any more wins this season!

That is....interesting. Wouldn't it be better to root for the players to be more productive? To see Parker and Stills have 100 yard games and score touch downs? To see what Drake can do with the ball in his hands?

Lol, were 4-3, and this is your attitude. This is ridiculous. After all the **** that has happened this season, do you expect to this team to be 7-0? Calm the **** down.

It has nothing to do with the record it’s all about the front office the coach and the staff realizing th tyrant is **** and needs a full rebuild. Not a bandaid

I'm tired of hearing about Parker. He gets outbodied by 5'5 corners.

    glad he's back..he makes a difference..

you can't win with Jarvis on the outside in your offense..all he needs is single coverage out there..10 other guys can play defense, stop the run..

you upgrade two position with Parker..in a big way.

My problem with Parker is that he isn't consistent. He makes a big play here and there but rarely ever dominates games like a true number 1 WR should. Last night he caught a couple of nice balls in the beginning of the game, disappeared for about 2 quarters, then he showed up again in garbage time.

He needs to step up if he ever wants to be considered a number 1, alpha receiver.

He played in 15 games his rookie season.

He played in 15 games his 2nd season.

He's played in 5 games this season.

    He's missed 5 games in 3 seasons.

    In comparison,

Julio Jones missed 14 games his first 3 seasons.

    Dez Bryant missed 5 games

So WTF are you blathering on about?

That is the QB and or coach isn't it? Calling plays everywhere but to Parker. Parker can't catch those screens, but I am sure Gase is working on a new WR bubble screen for Parker as we speak.

Well, he’s been very forgettable in most games his career... not sure what’s worse.. and he only played 14 games his rookie year but started 4 and last year played in 15 but started 8 lol this guy isn’t as good as people try to advertise him. And he’s gotta he one of the least physical big WR’s in the league.

Gase is probably about to roll out the J Thomas TE screens. That will be a game changer. Gase is a genius

He was drafted in 2015 and his foot issue from that previous season popped up again. He played 14 of 16 games that year. Last year he played 15 of our 17 games. This year he has played 5 of 8 games. Not exactly an iron man, but I don't think he is close to "literally" missing almost every game.
    http://www.nfl.com/player/devanteparker/2552409/careerstats
He has a total of like 34 games.

I am down on this team right now as well, but let's not start making **** up. The facts are bad enough. We don't need to add fiction.

My point was that he is not as fragile as you made it appear. Sorry, I thought that was clear. You could tell me his grandma has a killer recipe for cookies and it would be as relevant as complaining about how useless you perceive him to be in the conversation, which again was about his durability in case you missed it.

Difference is, I follow both Philly and Miami.. you follow Miami and that’s it... that much is clear when you said both organizations are run the same way.. that cleared up things about how far into the NFL you actually watch lol.. how is this complicated for you? Get over it...

He’s still on the injury report nearly every week and than most of the time it is used as an excuse for why he did 2 receptions for 12 yards... honestly, he just isn’t that good. Not a WR1... Landry is more WR1 than Parker.. sorry

I still remember everyone comparing him to AJ Green lmao and I was comparing him to Hakeem Nicks... I wish we could get to the point where he actually starts to look as good as Nicks and it’s not like Nicks was a very good WR himself.

He is sitting in his office right now drawing on a white board like oh man we are gonna kill Carolina with this TE double screen 2 options for cutler to get it out!!!!!! then after that play we are gonna run a wr screen to landry 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage. "defensive coordinator - but what about the defense what if its set up for that" gase - Get out of here it will work you don't trust the genius!!!! see you tomorrow!!!!

Yes. I think so often that when you are physically gifted you can cruise until you reach a certain level and you hit a wall, with no skills to cope with the difficulty. We see it in academics in some kids and many athletes. That's why only a few in any field become special. The ones who have the talent and also the commitment to capitalize on it to maximize their potential.

Sorry for what? Is that for misrepresenting me while you quote me and try to put words in my mouth? Apology accepted.
I just laid out how many games Parker doesn't miss. Miss. That was what you were talking about. Just setting the record straight. If you want to dispute that then go ahead. If not, why quote me? It's like you need to find a person to disagree with, so you twist their words to make an argument...or you are actually hallucinating. Either way, a psychologist may be able to help you. I still think he played in more than 30 games, not 8. Do you disagree with that? If not, then what is this itch that you are trying to scratch by quoting and misrepresenting my opinion?
I have laid out my opinion on the number of games played by Parker a couple of times now. If you still cannot follow, that's okay. Keep at it. Reread and try a dictionary or ask for help if the words confuse you. Maybe you can find somebody to argue with about how good or bad you and they think Parker is, until you both feel like you've won an argument. As for me, I just don't care to get into that on either side. Not interested.
But thanks for the apology, it's all good if you now see more clearly.

Oh my, I typed for a minute and a half and now that's the issue.
Shamegame made a fool of himself by saying Parker has only played in 8 games and cannot admit how wrong he was. So he tries over and over again to back out by making separate arguments LMAO. Glad you gave your head a shake though. Did it help with your basic comprehension of English and counting? 8 games, LMFAO.

Know what you mean. whether healthy or not, his impact was not what we expected, esp this year. Like other players on this team, he is not consistent. You can't build around that

I agree that he's not been consistent. But neither has the team around him.

He had PHILBIN as his first head coach....PHILBIN.

Then he had to come in last year and learn an entirely new offense. And then just as him and RT were looking like they may be building some chemistry RT gets hurt. Then he practices with RT all offseason, RT gets hurt, and then he had to try to build some chemistry with Cutler. Then Parker got hurt.

Besides, if a person doesn't live in Miami they shouldn't be talking about the Dolphins. ;)

If you watched this past game you'd have seen the pure genius of the play calling and game plan. With Ajayi out and 2 RB's that like to and are able to pass catch this offense looked entirely different. The offense was stopped only by penalties. That's not a game plan problem.
