Well, if that turns out to be true, then I think Cam won't be far behind him. They are a combo deal, IMO... one goes, they both go... one stays, they both stay....

PFT is actually fairly accurate . . . they gamble w/ early breaks on stories . . . and sometimes get them messed up . . . but they actually nail some things earlier than other outlets.

PFT has usually been more wrong than right, but I do feel that they're on the mark with this particular rumor. I don't think they're the only one's who thought that though. This rumor has been rampant since Parcells took over!!

The source isn't great but let's face it the writing was on wall whether they won one game or not..., I'm still glad they shipped Chambers out and let Welker go...

PFT is a very reliable source, just because it isn't well known like ESPN doesn't make them any less credible.

Mueller was not the problem and should be considered a top guy. Sorry guys, we are lucky to have him. Anyone considering Parcels looks at everything and concludes we have a great coach in Cam, great draft team, great quarterback of the future in Beck, and is very happy with the direction of the master plan being implemented before his arrival? THAT I would love to hear!

You have a very loose definition of the word "great" if you're using that term to describe what we've seen from Cameron and Beck thus far. I'm still hopeful for Beck, but he's done nothing to this point to bring the word "great" to mind (other than, I hope we didn't make a great mistake by counting on him to be our franchise QB).

Mueller should have been fired after Goddel read "with the 9th pick of the 2007 draft, the Miami Dolphins select Ted Ginn Jr., WR. Ohio State." Right there is when I knew we were in trouble with him and he had to go.

What about paper man makes you think he'll be great? He is a mediocre returner who looks hesitant and down right scared most of the time. He can not break tackles, at all. He'll always have trouble with press coverages due to his slight frame and lack of upper and lower body strength. He's Randal Hill one decade later.

However, please enlighten me to what you see. I'm open minded and could be wrong, but I've watched each game 2 or 3 times and this is what I see.

No it should have been Okoye DT or Staley OT or Brady Quinn and if Brady Quinn was that in accurate a passer then it definitely should have been DT or OT...

Ginn is blessed and will be good..., but it was a reach..., and it has some bearing on being 1-14

    So Cal
It does seem like the draft has sealed Cam/Randy's fate. I do like having Ted Ginn. However, I think a lot of the NFL/Parcells type, view that pick as an opportunity to get a highly rated QB in Quinn or pick up a top defensive player like Willis. For our sake, its up to Beck to produce.

Oh god, is that what our hopes are on?? Can't we learn for the Bears and Ravens. They have similar QB's and held out hope. How did that pan out for them???

oh bull, he is just fine behind arguably the worse ST unit in the nfl. We had not had a return for a td in 3 years.. he gave us three his rookie season.. behind the aforementioned crappy unit.

He has never had problems with the press.. ever. He is as dangerous as anyone around on the press because when he beats it, the corner is no longer a factor. You sound like you are repeating the same garbage the press was saying about him.. but then again, almost all of the guys who hated the pick parrot the same garbage... can't beat the press, can't go over the middle, to small, injury prone.. pfft garbage.

patrick willis should have been the choice at 9 even if we had zach in the middle BUT we have ginn and i am happy we do. He is exciting and everyone keeps saying that he should have been taken later, well texans were gonna take him at 10 spot anyway. I think some of you people will eat ur words because i think ginn will be a good player in this league. recievers take 2 to 3 years to get adjusted to this league and ginn including this year has only been a receiver for 3 years. He was a top notch cornerback coming out of HS. I for one am very impressed by his route running and his hands. I didnt think he would run his routes good and have good hands due to the lack of experience as a WR. He should have 3 special teams touchdowns but he has one and thats ok too, you can't have everything in your favor as we learned this year. Let him develop and if he is not a good player in two years then you can bash him all you want.

maybe in your world, not mine. PFT throws a big pile of crap on the wall and eventually some of it sticks. It is VERY likely mueller will be gone, but until he is, you cannot misrepresent your thread as fact.

Ha ha cnc66 you are a trip. Keep it real, man! Hey, what do you think about the lemmings repeating that all the injuries this year are due to lack of conditioning and Cam’s easy camp?

PTF is a "rumor mill" and some of their stuff is just that! However they were all over the Vick stuff way before any "real news" got a hold of it. Read them everyday for two weeks and see how right they are!!!!!!!!

What coaching, front office, player move or coaching move happens before it is reported? Not many because it is reported before hand and that is a rumor.

Funny how this PFT story says Mueller will be fired not when he will be fired because they have no idea when.

I think he will get fired but it will be after the draft.

Kind of a no brainer to throw out a story like this. It really means nothing!

Marty is right, this is a rumor from PFT. While they do get some things right and have scooped the rest of the media at times, far too often there is a bunch of crap mixed in. That's not to say that everything they post is garbage, but a rumor is a rumor until it is confirmed.

Saying Randy will be fired is a pretty safe bet right now, kind of like saying the sun will rise in the east tomorrow.

Most football injuries are impact injuries. The difference between NFL conditioning you get from a "soft camp" and a "hard camp" are statistically insignificant. There's been some fairly good research that injury rates are effectively random - no team has a long term injury rate that is significantly better or worse than the rest of the league.

that's interesting.. Cam was taking the advice of Bill Arnsbarger I think.. I think that is why he metted out the workload like he did. I would love to read about that if you can recall where you read it.

You lost me with this nonsense. Ginn has the potential to be in the same class as Hester on ST's, it just so happens that Miami's ST is nowhere near as good as Chicago's. I remember a game midseason where Hester caught the ball at the 9, made 1 juke and then followed his blockers into the endzone. He actually had a 5 man escort! When has Ginn ever had that type of luxury? And yet he has still done a heck of a job.

First of all, that is total BS. Second, were you one of the people that expected him to come in and catch 100 passes for 1000+ yards or else he was a bust? It takes time for WR's to make a name for themselves in the NFL, especialy when they have 2 quality vets (Chambers and Booker) playing ahead of them and no QB to get the ball into their hands. We haven't even begun to see what Ginn is capable of because of that last bit, he hasn't been utitlzed properly. Once he is, he'll be just fine and worthy of the 9th overall pick.
